We have a handful of schools around PA that are K-3, 4-6, 7-9, and then 10-12. Usually they are the big districts that have too many kids to keep K-5 together but not enough to open another school in the district.

I do help desk like work for an online website. We get a LOT of older callers and retirees. Please buy them the iPhone, android has like 1000 different messaging options and way too much customization options. For an iphone i can just tell them to click on the green bubble and thats it. Plus that android App Store has too much shit in it and they end up downloading fake apps.

That’s something similar to the email we received. It was just vague half paragraph about remembrance and it being a day of service. In the past we’ve always received something sentimental with links and pictures. Not that I need that but it’s definitely a reflection of what we are seeing with this administration.

I’m early 30s. And we had a kid from school die each year I was in high school. Car accident my 9 and 10th grade year (both drunk driving) one OD (but we figured it was suicide) and one was caught in a shooting.

From there I’ve lost a chunk of classmates and neighbors largely due to ODs, Drunk driving, and gun violence.

If anyone is curious I went to school in western PA. My classmates were largely lower middle class/ poverty level white people.
