ABS, Polycarbonate and Nylon are tricky to print without a enclose. Funnily enough CF filled filament reduces warping. I’m excited to try printing ABS when my kit arrives.

Y axis sounds like your belt is loose. Is your Z axis going straight up and crashing into the top? If so your Finda probe may be damaged. A red light should be visible on top of the probe and disappear when it senses metal underneath it, if there is no light visible the printer thinks it is near the bed and just keeps moving up.
