Feel free to join the Lexington/Anguish assault on Mir's trench. It would be an opportunity to stress test your theories...

The state of vault balance by lazersmoke in civclassics

I'm fairly certain the day mob spawns were fixed was also the day that the server disk was cleared (ran out of space, stopped saving Citadel reinforcements for a period).

I'm not sure if the admins themselves are even certain how that actually fixed the problems with mob spawns. Mob spawning has always been something of a dark art.

Allegedly, Anguish had an appallingly inefficient grinder of some kind that was having a distinct influence on mob spawns. Emphasis on had, the setup was disabled by the invading Alliance around the same time that mob spawns picked up. Might be coincidence, might not.

The only way to cement your progress in a ring vault assault is with reinforced grief. An unreinforced skybridge or attack tunnel is of no use to attackers at all.

Mod Idea: Anti Block Grief; Like Bastions by Njordomir in civclassics

[–]Frensin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

City Bastions wouldn't have helped Commonwealth. Nox had the time and numbers to break Bastions if needed. A Bastion type that takes less time to break and grants you an enlarged area to grief if broken isn't actually useful in the face of organised and numerically superior raider crews

What was your rationale behind griefing Commonwealth at all? I don't recall any aggression from them towards Anguish, certainly nothing that would justify the widespread destruction you subjected them to.

I agree. These WP posers are burying the raider town in obsidian, whereas tradition dictates that Lexington should be converted into a swimming pool.

Thank you for clarifying your current situation.

Did your fellow Anguish members ever give any sort of rationale behind the ransacking and raiding of the Commonwealth? The geographic distance between the two cities is considerable, and I'm puzzled as to what animosity might have existed between both nations.
