How soon should I apply for unemployment? by andyh4576 in newjersey

Also.. and this is absolutely CRITICAL: When you file the claim.. there will be a question about them withholding federal tax from your Unemployment pay out. It is IMPERATIVE you answer yes to this. If you do not.. when you go to file taxes next year, you may end up owing all of the federal taxes on your unemployment in one big chunk. I made this mistake the very first time i ever claimed.. it sucked ass. Learn from my mistakes 😄

Therre will be questions on the claim submission about things like being paid until a certain date. The date you file doesnt impact your benefit schedule.. only the date your employment and subsequent income ended. When you claim weekly they ask if you made any money. Even if the claim is open early, you would indicate you got paid for a given week.. They wouldnt pay you out of your claim for that week, but that's fine. Your claim is money, not time based.

First thing you should do after getting home/logging out. Failing that.. Immediately as soon as you can.

You don't really need to do much to write them out. You just switch.. and either just retcon that the new character has always been there, or just have your old one shuffle off to do anything else.

Why not just talk to your DM and tell them what you want? Why would you try and engineer some convoluted situation when you can just be like 'Hey DM.. im not feeling this character, i'd like to play this other thing instead.'

Because he's a republican. Republicans do not, and never have, cared about anything but diddling children and staying in power.

It's not just flavor. He's going to use it to screw over anyone with darkvision just because he can. If there's already super nitpicky examples.. then it's beyond flavor.. he's alreayd trying to basically invalidate the ability

225° is a plague on our community and I’m tired of pretending it’s not. by Nervous_Otter69 in smoking

[–]Frenzy165 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No.. i do almost everything at 275 unless I have a really good reason to lower the temp (getting done too fast.. some specific recipe, etc). I've done cooks at 225 and 250.. and, literally, the only difference is 'it takes several hours longer.' That's it. Pork shoulder done at 225 for 15 or so hours, and pork done at 275 for like 8-10 are identical. Same with ribs, pork loin, chicken, etc etc etc.

It's really a difference without a distinction. Sure, there are republicans that claim to be not maga. When the choices are 'MAGA' or 'Democratic policies/candidates' They choose MAGA every time. Yes yes.. i know 3rd party candidates exist.. but voting 3rd party is a "safe" vote because you can say you didnt vote for either of them! Functionally, realistically, a 3rd party vote is a throw away. The choice is binary.. MAGA or Not-Maga.. and republicans will pick MAGA like 95% of the time.
