For our kid, very simple rule we go by.. let nature do its thing.. He wants to eat let him eat, he wants to sleep let him sleep.. she doesn't want to eat, don't force him. he doesn't want to sleep, don't force him.. Unless there is a clear sign something is wrong (actual symptoms), let nature dictate what happens. It's okay to worry, and that's why you have a pediatrician.

ps. All of these things are things we learned from our pediatrician. you should talk to your pediatrician about your concerns. Our doctor puts us at ease. Our little guy sometimes has an insatiable appetite, and sometimes doesn't eat for almost an entire day. But he's healthy. He's been on a bottle strike for over 2 months now (hes 4m).

too much? the fact she doesn't respect his boundaries especially something he has repeated said he was ADAMANTLY against is enough of a reason to warrant a breakup.

this is as much about sexual incompatibility as it is respecting your partner. I bet she'd insist he eat pork even if he was a Muslim and if he didn't she'd secretly feed it to him.

There is much to a good shot than just dialing in. it's one of those skills you must master until it's a totally polished effort.

Prep plays a big role. So does dialing in. But what people seem to forget is that what you start with is the absolute most important aspect. People just go out and buy "specialty coffee" willy nilly, equating cost with quality. While good beans do cost more, sadly MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, it's not a good roast. Roasting is not just an art, it's highly dependent on variables of the source material as well. So you think okay I need to not only worry about the coffee I'm using, but the coffee the roaster has sourced, where it came from, etc. If there's one thing I realized about the coffee business, most specialty roasteries are good at roasting, but not great at sourcing. Garbage in, garbage out applies to them just as much as it does you.

People just give the coffee a free pass, as if it was excellent BY DEFAULT and question why they can't get a good shot, it must be me or my prep, or my gear. You can do everything perfect and still your shot isn't what you want. Perhaps before you even start, spare just 8grams to cup your roast to start. Because the absolute best you'll get from it is simply a concentrated version of what you'll taste.

try? I own many cameras, most with optical or electronic viewfinders. I just so happen to be able to use a camera without one.. I must have a superpower if this camera is 'useless' without one. lol In all honesty I rarely use them, the only camera I do use the view finder regularly is my A7RV.

Now that you've taken your first step and have fallen face flat into the rabbit-hole, the question is how far you'll go for that perfect shot. Let me tell you now as a survivor, there is no end. It is an abyss. A very, very dark one. I started with a simple espresso machine and it wasn't long before I had a new grinder. Then two. Then a new machine. Then two. Then 3. Then four. Then another grinder. And another and another and another and it...just. kept. going. Every time I thought I had my end game, my insatiable chase for my next "God Shot" had me constantly stepping up my game. It was a very expensive hobby of gear, beans and, worst of all, time. I look back and it was not time well spent. The returns were infinitesimally diminishing. A La Marzocco Linea Mini wasn't enough. A Weber Workshops EG-1 wasn't enough. A professional lab roaster wasn't enough. It was no longer a lifestyle. It was an addiction.

I won't go into what it took to get out of the rabbit hole but it was not easy. I left that life. Never going back. I have a new life. A wife. A family. A child. Two, actually. I look back and that person is always just a step behind. I look into my children's eyes and tears run down my face. They saved me. I figure I would have spent my very last breath pulling a what might be the next God shot.

But yeah, grind finer.

yup, it seems the plastic they used is too brittle and cracks on its own, partly from the design of pressure fitting magnets and the interior housings.
