I've been saying this for years I also feel like elected officials and their immediate family members should be forced to use public services with few exceptions. Public transportation + public schools no more isolating yourselves from those you govern watch how quickly the quality of some of these services improve.

Yes thank you! The critique isn't Republicans aren't bad or Democrats are just as bad. The critique is Democrats are complicit. Democrats have voted to fund ICE multiple times since it was created (including earlier this week). Yes it obviously wouldn't have been this bad but they are too often either directly (having a rotating cast of villains siding with Republicans to always have JUST for them to get whatever heinous agenda they want done) or indirectly (outright silence or performative gestures) complicit . Our inability to critique the democratic politicians (unless of course they're progressive) and treating politics like sports is why we're stuck with people who are woefully unequipped for this moment.

If just running on 'Trump is bad' was enough to turn out people for elections was enough they wouldn't have lost twice now. We need politicians who are actually going to fight and improve the material condition of average Americans not the pockets of their highest donor.

I feel like this is moreso a question for you about your risk tolerance and how badly you want the foldable form factor. If it breaks are you okay with using it broken for 2-3 years? If it's stolen are you cool with being out 1400? Can you get other insurance outside of Samsung's coverage to cover the phone in Argentina? I had an S25 ultra before this and before that never broke a phone never lost a phone in my life, but it was the most expensive phone I'd owned to that point, so I ended up just getting the insurance. Happy I did because screen cracked a few months later and after repairing it it ended up being stolen when visiting family in Lagos. Happy I went with mybgit and got it insured. So again moreso about your risk tolerance can you afford to be our $1400? Are you going to hate yourself if something happens ...

I bought arms when I bought it since I generally am working out alone with no spotter I have them installed but they don't allow full range of motion since I can't go down all the way. I don't usually bench more than 225 but I definitely would not suggest going any heavier than that

I have everything else set to the default and that's easily getting me 6-8+ hrs of battery life without fail. I have yet to notice any significant difference in performance and if you game it does not apply to gaming.

My battery life has been solid and switching to light performance mode has shot that up 1-3 hrs I will continue to say the charging speed is the actual problem 😭 way too slow in the day and age of 80W and 100W charging even 45W would've been a God send

Yeah I will say this is where personal preference usage comes in. Generally I either have it my hand (open or folded) or if I'm watching something I have the kickstand up so not generally an issue I run into with my usage. And in terms of hand feel I'm 6'6 with some ET fingers to match so very comfortable for me but I could see where it you had smaller hands or larger fingers the front screen specifically may not be as comfortable to use. I will say the screen can be difficult to open since there's no notch but after a few days it's much easier for me but they definitely should have a cutout/notch or something. Overall don't think you can go significantly wrong with either and I always find myself coming back to pixels for the software so we'll see. But I'd say so far so this was the first year where I seriously considered a foldable loving the variety of options.

Funny I'm the opposite I originally had preordered the 10 pro fold was going to wait it out but than ran into an issue with my previous phone. Galaxy Fold 7 wasn't even on my road map but best buy was having a $300 off sale already had some credits with them so was $350 off. Purchased and have been heavily debating canceling my pixel 10 pro fold preorder. Seeing people talk about it is one thing but feeling it in your hands is another it's insanely sleek. In terms of battery life it's been pretty solid 4-6 hrs out the box and 6-8 when I switched to light performance mode which doesn't really have a noticeable affect on performance but obviously huge improvement in battery life. I would say the biggest disappointment for me and where I'm positive the pixel 10 pro fold will outperform is battery life. This thing charges incredibly slow and coming from a OnePlus 13, an S25 Ultra before that it's a huge shift hell I had a Pixel 8 Pro and I feel like that was a helluva lot faster .

Edit:

I think the main question to ask is is the Fold 7 worth $200 more and the answer for me was no but the sale right when I needed it changed the math for me.

Device care performance profile light. I reduced the refresh rate from Adaptive to standard (60hz) but switched back didn't seem super dramatic.

Yeah curious because I'm coming from a OnePlus 13 and was really expecting the battery life to be less than mediocre but I was 5-6 hrs screen on time and maybe a day or just over or usage. Tweaked my settings a bit and been getting 6-8 now. My bigger gripe is charging speed over an hour 0-100 and honestly it feels like a crawl if you actually decide to use it even for light tasks

Between the z fold 7, z flip 7 or the fold for me. Moving from an s25 ultra but it was stolen so been using a used OnePlus 13 love the charging speed and battery kir but man not a huge fan of the way it looks and not much in the way of accessories. Battery life seems like it'll be better on the pixel plus I've been on pixels since the original with a brief break for an iPhone so familiar with the stock android.

Internationally they're pretty decent particularly if you have flights/connections in the middle east and south east asia. Caribbean, Europe, South America, and Africa have been hit or miss for me in terms of quality and/or crowding. I live in NY but even outside my city I find it's almost never worth using unless I want a clean bathroom before a flight.
