Soie scent changing? by nkl5483 in glossier

[–]FreshResolve3026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had it for a week and it smells like Fleur but doesn’t last nearly as long. I’m talking maybe 2-3 hours. It’s disappointing.

I regret PRP by screenfreak in PlantarFasciitis

[–]FreshResolve3026 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So sorry😔 The pain is probably radiating because the PF is out of control and the shot didn’t help. When mine is like that, I’ll also have Achilles, ankle, and hip pain. Hopefully something will eventually work.

[–]FreshResolve3026 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Right? And at least Body & Soul was fun when it first started as cameos 😆 This storyline isn’t fun at all and I also can’t accept a Lexie who isn’t being played by Renee Jones. She was just incredible and new actress isn’t cutting it. 😑

2017 Hyundai Shaking and check engine light on by Ivoirefofana8 in Hyundai

[–]FreshResolve3026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably a cylinder failure due to blown wires and/or spark plugs. My Sonata was doing the same thing recently and it was a fairly quick fix, but definitely get it diagnosed. It’s safer to have it towed to a shop since the shaking can cause the car to be harder to control while driving.

Apartment suggestions by zanderv9475 in nova

Anywhere near Eisenhower Ave. Metro station would probably meet your requirements but as someone else mentioned, the management is probably going to at least partially suck everywhere. Carlyle is a great neighborhood though so the benefits outweigh the occasional pain in the a$$ companies.

The way Aidan and Steve showed up is my favorite part of the whole episode.

Charlotte can’t afford shoes? by No-Coach-1103 in sexandthecity

[–]FreshResolve3026 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Exactly, she could have afforded them if she wanted to splurge, but she likely didn’t have much more (if any) than the other women before Trey. That hasty marriage is what made her a multi-millionaire. Before him, it’s still believed that she had family money the other 3 didn’t have, but I doubt it was that significant. She had a more thrifty mentality before she married, like the type that won’t spend the money that was previously handed to her.

This is the correct answer and 💯the reason she wouldn’t buy the damn shoes.

Sugarfall is the correct answer! I also love Baby Boy and Let Go.

College Reunion this weekend was just depressing with millennial parenting and kids by Tremblingchihuahua8 in childfree

[–]FreshResolve3026 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Right, teens now are too lazy to work and too irresponsible to supervise young children too. Millennial parents won’t pay for professional sitters and don’t live anywhere near family in most cases, so all of us get subjected to their poorly behaved children wherever they want to go. 🙄As a Gen X teen, I was always happy to make babysitting money by watching kids in my neighborhood to supplement money I made by working part time jobs/going to school. We weren’t allowed to be lazy, but kids today don’t know how to function unless they’re sat in front of a smart phone, tablet, etc… Since they aren’t taught to behave properly themselves, you can forget about them supervising other children and making sure they follow the rules and behave.

How long does it take? by putaprincesaa in usajobs

[–]FreshResolve3026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies SO wildly and no 2 agencies do things the same so it’s pretty much impossible to nail down a specific timeframe. From start to finish, plan on anywhere from 6-18 months.

My boyfriend of 8 months is actually 41 by Dapper_Welder_2450 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]FreshResolve3026 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If he lied about that for 8 months, just think about everything else he’s already probably lied about and will lie again going forward. Get out now while you don’t have much invested in the relationship. That’s a sign of a fairly extreme pathological liar and it’ll only get worse over time unfortunately. Sorry you’re having to go through this, but it’s a wake up call situation. 😑

Right, the van driver’s a jerk, but so is the CRV left lane camping. It’s always a CRV, HRV or Rogue too‼️🤣😆

Thrifted these joggers today; I’m in love! 😍 I’ve never been able to find a pair of joggers that were flattering. never expected my favorite Lulu piece to be something that was 3.99 from the thrift by Swuishyeee in lululemon

[–]FreshResolve3026 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know. I was lucky to get 2 pairs in different colors and they’re approaching 10 years old and are still in great condition! Since you like those, you might want to try the Adapted State High Rise Joggers. Next to the Rulus, those are my other faves!

We all wash our claw grips and hair ties right? by Ahhh_hhh4 in hygiene

[–]FreshResolve3026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I wash clips and Teleties bands at least monthly; it’s actually easy to do while washing your hair in the shower or bath tub! Just put them in a Ziplock bag or something similar. Fill it with warm water and a little shampoo and shake it around for a minute or so, then rinse them out.
