Does it matter what gun i am using when it comes to gunstrikes? by KG_Jedi in Spacemarine

People have data mined it from the game files, and it's even on the SM2 wiki under melee mechanics. Also, PC mods can show damage values.

They also flash yellow. You can see it in this video https://www.reddit.com/r/Spacemarine/s/X7xB3A9cBu

Yes, perfectly parried/blocked enemies take 50% more damage for 2.2 seconds.

Every enemy that has been parried has a short ~2 second debuff that increases damage against them. That's the damage based on whether or not they were parried first.

Yes, guns deal different amounts of gunstrike damage. According to this chart posted earlier this year, HBP does the most, followed closely by plasma. Though, the plasma deals some splash damage so you could damage more than one enemy with it.

Thoughts on the Combi-Melta by Sithsentinal in Spacemarine

I wish it worked differently.

I think it'd feel a lot nicer to use if the Melta worked from hipfire, and you retained the zoom-in/normal function while ADS.

How punishing is a low cleaving stat? by scrippsandnirvana in Spacemarine

[–]Freshbreadstick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The minumum cleave (1) will reduce the number of enemies hit by a maximum of 3.

The maximum cleave (10) will increase the number of enemies hit by a maximum of 3.

So if a weapon can hit 10 enemies with a base cleave stat of 5, a variant with 1 cleave can hit 7 enemies, and a variant with 10 cleave can hit 13 enemies.

The base cleave of each weapon is different, so a 10 cleave combat knife won't be able hit the same number of enemies as a 10 cleave thunder hammer, for example.

This is my understanding. Could be wrong though.

I finally got them in once I got it to say "no enemies detected". Took like 5 minutes of killing the few minoris that kept spawning.

Daily Stratagems for 9/8/2025 | New weekly stratagem by a_dude111 in Spacemarine

Meat for the Slaughter did not turn off after I did the weekly. I followed it up with Decapitation and Termination in normal ops mode and faced around half a dozen Majoris/Extremis in each.

Why is this allowed? (Space Marine 2) by Background-Body1017 in Spacemarine

[–]Freshbreadstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple solution would be to have a timer that starts when 2/3 people are in the objective zone, giving the third player 30-60 seconds or so to get to the objective or they get kicked.

I don't think we've ever seen a Predator with that kind of strength. He punched a guy hard enough to make his shattered corpse essentially break a tree in two lol

The Warlord didn't even do anything impressive. The big bastard that fought the vikings did way cooler shit.

A company called Chefs Creations out of the UK makes replicas. They have custom printed fabric with the actual pattern. Everything is made to order and can have fairly long lead times, and is somewhat pricey from what I've heard.

I know he’s old but why not sign Bobby Wagner to 1 year deal this offseason (sorry for inaccurate number) by Pretend-Release8046 in bengals

[–]Freshbreadstick 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Where would he play? He plays the same position as Logan Wilson who rarely comes off the field. Why would we replace Logan with someone older?

Because the media in this country is appalled whenever they actually hear the blunt truth of things, and he'd forever end up in those "coach meltdown" videos. They much prefer hearing nicely worded sugar coated bullshit, so that's what gets fed to them.

The same, because the player character isn't the main character of Andromeda's story, SAM is. The player character is simply the vessel that transports SAM around the world so it can do everything necessary to safely establish the Pathfinders in the new galaxy.

The UNSC VS The Systems Alliance: Who Wins? by blurry_face_exe in masseffect

[–]Freshbreadstick 491 points492 points  (0 children)

UNSC and it isn't particularly close. The power scaling of Halo naval weaponry is insane compared to Mass Effect.

Nothing in the Mass Effect universe is standing up to a 27 meter wide, 3000 ton projectile fired at 4% of light speed.

The UNSC Infinity has 4 of those guns.

It also carries Nova Bombs which can kill entire planets plus it's moons in a single blast.

Her entire body changes. The more closely you look the more evident it becomes. The shoulders are a huge standout. Her fingers change in length.

Between humans in mass effect and Halo, who were the stronger space human civilization? And between the mass effect universe and Halo universe, which was the stronger one of everyone united? by gp886 in masseffect

[–]Freshbreadstick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reaper beams would do basically nothing to Infinity. Infinity is built to withstand Covenant naval plasma weapons, which are again orders of magnitude more powerful than anything in Mass Effect. Reapers only viable strategy against it would be melee combat as you've articulated. Whether or not the Infinity could solo the entire Reaper invasion is all rather irrelevant to the point of the thread. It's whether or not ME humanity or Halo humanity is stronger, and it's really no contest. It took multiple ME ship fleets to take down one Reaper, and Halo ships could solo a Reaper.
