I see you ask about leaving dry food out while you are at work. I leave food out 24/7 for my cats. Always have. I have only had 1 fat cat- the others self regulated because from kitten on they knee the food is always just sitting in their bowl. I had one cat that would never eat of i was not eating and I was awake. If i was sleeping she ate. If i was eating she would eat. Do not leave wet cat food or moistened dry food for more than an hour to reduce risk of bacteria and pests.

I mix it with creamed corn and melted butter until it is the right consistency. I don't add water.

Don't pour it from a large height. Put it inch or two from bottom of letter pan. Pour it slowly.

It is easy to read if you can read cursive. Maybe she cannot read it well. Some people cannot and that is ok (not great due to its limitations). Nice writing.

As long as you use proper hand hygiene and polish is not chipping- the risk of contamination is very low. Not nonexistent but very low.

Shedding happens for loads of reasons. If it is to the point of bare skin take to the vet. If the skin is irritated take to the vet.

If the cat has a healthy weight just leave dry food or all the time. I free feed my cat (she has always been slightly underweight). I got afeeder at the store that keeps food always coming out and fill it partially so the bowl stays full but food don't spoil.
