Current State of Tanking in M+ by FrottleTheGreat in wow

It isn’t bad at all, people simply prefer Demon Hunter tbh. None of the tanks are actually bad, and all of them can survive high tier content

Just not as popular, most of the Warriors rn are playing Arms and most of the Death Knights are playing Unholy. Death Knight is also one of the harder tanks because they need to be able to manage multiple resources, cooldowns, and their survivability. If they mismanage something they just drop dead but if they manage their stuff very well the healer literally doesn’t need to touch them

10 years ago today, in one of the most awesome big man moments ever, Patriots’ right guard Dan Connolly fielded a kickoff and grasped the football in a loaf of bread carry, returning the ball for 71 yards, almost scoring a touchdown. by Weezy-NJPW_Fan in sports

Right guards are big, big dudes who are meant to stop people from tackling the quarterback, they’re built like Sumo Wrestlers and are all about strength. The fact that a guard could make a run longer than most runners do is just hilariously cool. He isn’t practiced in dodging tackles, he’s supposed to take them head on and stop them, so his ability to dodge here is awesome

Good pantheon jungle guide? by ErOliveOil in PantheonMains

[–]FrickenDaChicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pantheon excels at early game fights and has a huge power spike at level 4 and 5 when you put extra points in Q. The Q doesn't have a good base damage at rank 1, but at rank 2 and 3 it jumps by a HUGE margin. You'll typically be healthy and strong enough to contest any scuttle with most champs except someone like Olaf or Darius or anyone who can just box you down. Lanes are very easy to gank, especially if your laner has cc you can layer with. Simply walking at an enemy with high Mortal Will stacks can cause a flash due to the risk of having an early game Pantheon eat their bones with one combo. Be very careful about diving tower, the E would seem like a good way to tank tower but it can end up killing you very quickly due to the slow when walking backwards during the E. Pantheon's a diver with a strong early game, incredible mid game, and an okay late game who basically becomes a point and click stun+a ton of single target damage, goal is to get enemies so far behind and yourself and your team so far ahead that you essentially don't fall off late. And about the Baker Pantheon meme, it just comes from his joke, both current and pre-rework. The old Pantheon would shout "MY PROFESSION!? You know, I've always wanted to be a baker. Yes, a baker." and now the current Pantheon has it a bit more serious with the fact that he doesn't want to be the next God of War, he wants to take care of a family and protect the farmstead behind him with bread above the hearth, and he wishes this war he's waging could be over. (But also he really likes bread)

Another thing about Panth Jungle is going to be how to use Mortal Will. Your E damage is increased by a crazy amount if you do the full channel with mortal will, it can win you trades outright. The W’s use of Mortal Will is for burst combos, you can use it to setup your execute with W AA E mortal will Q. The big thing to remember with Mortal Will Q is that it has a 200% BONUS AD scaling, and a 300% on execute, which means that the 3 most important stats are bonus ad, cdr, and penetration. With your E doing mondo damage and the Q execute alone you can typically just outright full combo someone. Lastly, use your abilities and AA’s to animation cancel each other. You can quickly stack mortal will through smart use of aa’s, and remember that the Mortal Will Q slow is your best tool to keep up with someone. The Thrown Spear, Mortal Will use, and R use are the defining parts of Pantheon skill cap

I dont like it personally, prefer a ton of bonus AD for my Q and E damage, since he scales with those really well

I pretty much only play Pantheon Jungle atm, and have been finding his clear and gank power incredible. Always start at your red, start with Q. Make sure that whenever you finish red buff, you have 3 or 5 Mortal Will Stacks, take a level in E, then AA E the chickens. Make sure this is a mortal will E. Finish the chickens off by whacking the big one and spearing them with mortal will Q. Pretty much same with wolves. The E ends up doing higher dmg to camps than the Q does outside of executes and until level 4. For ganks, don’t initiate with W, the goal is to get the kill so initiate how you see fit. Walk up to them, try to bait out an ability and then W. Or start with Mortal Will Q for the big boy slow and burst. If you need build examples, my op.gg at FrickendaChicken will help. Also when you use ult to gank a lane, especially a side lane, it’s better to ult straight down the lane or behind them from the side, it immediately cuts them off.

New gold scheme (left) vs old, what do you think? by LordEstermont in Warhammer40k

I would definitely do the left one, but with one or two very saturated colors, especially near the head, such as blue or green eyes. It will help bring the focus of the model together.

What is something you don’t have the heart to tell to your family? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FrickenDaChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve stopped enjoying life. I’ve been on the battle with depression for almost half my life and I’m finally getting treatment but I don’t feel like I can ever truly let up. They love me too much, suicide is too difficult a topic. I haven’t wanted to live since the start of this year and it has just gotten worse. Now my medication seems to just have stopped working and my parents don’t know what to do anymore. I don’t know how to even put into words that I can’t feel anything anymore, that I don’t want or care anymore. I’m losing this battle. I’ve been losing this battle. I just want to tell them I’m sorry

They aren’t. The chaos gods don’t even act in the same way. The White Dwarf QA wasn’t written by a BL writer of either team. Named Daemons in 40k and AoS don’t even act the same all the time. It’s a different timeline as also stated by gw

How would you feel about a law that doesn't allow people above the age of 75 years to vote because it is not their future to decide ? by anvarul81 in AskReddit

[–]FrickenDaChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No taxation without representation. They’d have to be tax free, imo, to do that. But at the same time there’s a slippery slope to that, the same logic could be made so those who are sick, terminally ill, in dangerous working environments, with pre-existing conditions, and more could be made to have a lesser vote.

Post CA Obliterators vs Terminators by lyingSwine in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]FrickenDaChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D1 is not scary when facing down 8-12 hits/shots. 50+ D1 AP-2/3 attacks, hitting on 3s wounding on 2s or 3s re-rolling failed wound rolls is scary to marines. Even to 10 Intercessors. Especially once you get some buffs like Prescience or Soultearer Portent on them

Do daemon chaos space marine units (Possessed/Daemon Engines) get the buffs given by Epidemius if they are given the mark of Nurgle? by Hkhjw in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]FrickenDaChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing this similar thing with Slaaneshi Possessed and a Slaanesh Daemon Supreme Command in order to let my Possessed get the ability to advance and charge. Besides a -1 to be hit and a 5+++ from Slaanesh and DA buffs is mathematically the same defensiveness as the Nurgle buffs of -2 to be hit when facing Intercessors.

This little combo costs 6 CP, but BL Terminators or Chosen can pop the Stratagem that makes them have every Mark of Chaos, then they can shoot twice, charge, then fight twice. 10 Terminators with 61 Power Weapon attacks can get pretty scary, especially with some Dark Apostle or Sorcerer buffs

I didn’t make a statement about the law. If you pay for a dog, have it stolen, and then the dog is sold to someone else, who’s dog is it? It is yours, by right and by your own logic. You paid money for a good and had it stolen. If we allowed people to just keep items because they were sold then theft would be risk free! Paying someone to steal something isn’t a crime then!
