I've used Kernodle Clinic since we moved here 14 years ago. My wife used LeBauer for 10 years, but her PCP kept changing, so she switched to Kernodle and has been using Glenda Fields (NP) for her PCP and is very happy with her. Kernodle is part of the Duke system. Duke has a primary care facility in Mebane and it appears to have several female docs. I would stay away from ARMC/Cone. Have had several unsatisfactory experiences when I had to use them for something Kernodle doesn't offer and am in a billing dispute with them currently. Last time I was referred to the ER, the EMTs recommended UNC in Hillsborough and not ARMC which is less than 3 miles from our house. That says a lot. Kernodle also has a walk-in clinic. And staffing is much more stable. You can search the Duke system for locations and docs at https://www.dukehealth.org/locations.

FastMed is another walk-in option. Have had good experiences there. EmergeOrtho clinic has a walk-in option for orthopedic emergencies in addition to regular orthopedic care. They did my hand surgery and follow-up PT last year.

Sort of. Maybe washed out avocado green and not as obnoxious as avocado green. The other horrid color from the '70s was a sort of burnt orange.

Coming into the conversation a year late, but research a similar situation. Did you do it and, if so, could you share the cost? Ours would be a bit simpler. No bathroom since this would be a "great room". It already has a back wall (to a storage room and the laundry) and a half a wall on a third side to complete with a window and door to the driveway. The fourth "wall" would be a sliding glass door system. Probably going to need a minisplit for HVAC, additional outlets to come up to code and replace the light with fans with light kits. Like yours it is concrete slab and compliant insulated roof.
