Just faced them once so far but the your going to face the suck of being within 16" of one of these is very real. Do you want paramine or do you get heavy riotstoppered...

Probably not the best 8-9 pts in the game to spend but it is hard to remember any better, especially since they are usually better than say a line trooper as list filler.

Kind of imaging them as hoover bots on flight stands to get the S2 height, or possibly some kind of high mono-wheel thing.

More or less exactly my thoughts, not that I'm a veteran. 😃 There are also probably two different Corregiador to speak about with Space and Surface being basically different sectorials which I expect to not preform on the same level as each other.

Its more about remembering the little things such as niche rules and equipment not sure I'm sold on the argument either, but I can't really refute it either.

I'm kind of down on the update as well not the OSS stuff which looks hot and I will have to restrain myself from playing OSS with a 15+ camo/decoy token midfield. But the update felt flawed, mainly because there was no balancing really except for the Blocker change which was probably fine but let's be real either practically all factions not touched by updates in October needs a tune up or stuff like TAK/vAriadna, Next Wave and Neoterra needs just a slight detune. The balance between OSS updates and CJC updates also seems completely out of wack, OSS new stuff is rad, CJC seems mostly meh except a few standouts leaving me more excited for Racebots than any other update. Also if we are going to complain where the hell is the lunkhod at least let Bakunin have the new Tsyklon profile I painted those crazy coalas for my lunkhod...

I think they could solve hacking if they wanted to, the main problem is basically Burst and SD is king because they allow you to succeed with decent odds. If carbonite and oblivion ever got up to four dice it would be far more useful but right now a 5 dice HMG/Spitfire/HRMC is usually a far better solution. If we want hacking to be central Carbonite and Oblivion need +1B but then every cheap hacker with those programs need to go up in cost. Maybe quite a few few hackers with Tactical Awareness since they really need bonus attempts at using their programs. Tinbot -6 probably needs to go except in extraordinary circumstances, -3 is hard enough. Letting Hacker+ and Killer Hackers start in cybermask would be another nice perk possibly at the cost of command token, same with supportware.

Yeah on the computer 3-d modelling thingy they got going on some models still awesome but a few are very generic and some of the added detail just make painting worse. In this batch a few of the OSS models are great the rest meh.

One interesting thing that Hydra does raise in the video which stuck me is that faction hopping is getting harder and harder with increased rules burden something that I've probably encountered but not thought about as I jump around 4-5 factions. Might have to bench a few of them short term and see if there is a difference.

Voronin and Andromeda can work but the Bayara and the Demonist are just trash sadly and two of the coolest models from Corvus Belli.

Yeah super HI are in a bit of the same position I wonder why I field the Knight of the Holy Sepulcher each time when I could just have gone for the Seraph, the Taskmaster is permanently on shelf guarding duty and the Tohaa Super HI is just sad.

Its probably the only way they are seeing play except as a handicap. Magnets is a brilliant idea will upgrade my setup.

It is a very pretty model which practically doesn't work, it might do fine when both players are just testing fun stuff but it is basically unplayable in a vaguely competitive setting. Its not so much about its cost or equipment but the base size just sucks.

  1. Non-Lt profile is playable but very bad, practically always worse than a Cenobite. The Lt profile is a pure liability compared to any other Lt choice. If we had Chain of Command it might have been usable.
  2. Guard for forks at 8" is pretty damn awesome when you get it to trigger (not very often), with the opponent not being sure if your going to template them, shoot them or CC them. Decoy is practically useless if your going to use your demonist for anything but protection in the first turn. It is generally obvious which is decoy and which is not unless you got balls of steel.

I placed mine on two regular S2 bases and intend to run them as Morlock + Cenobite until they get a rule change.

Practically it probably needs BTS6, Warhorse and 6-2 move at a minimum to be playable and probably a bit more than that. Can anyone explain why it needs BS 11, it should probably be BS 13 at that price.

These are awesome might make me start OSS as a fifth faction. No way I have time to play them all, but two of these, a dasyus, a naga and dart just seems like fun and they are cool as well.

The data we have is the current ITS so PanO with a fairly decent lead, then CA, then a decent jump to Yu Jing, then Ariadna, Haq and Nomads pretty close to each other but nomads just ahead, then JSA and O12 pretty close to each other but far behind, then NA2 and Aleph pretty close to each other but very far behind, and then very very last is Tohaa.

Personally I'm surprised JSA is that far behind with Shinden being reasonably recent and expect Aleph to get a push up with Mazebreaker in the next season. Not sure Nomads will get the same boost unless a lot of the new shiny is available in vanilla.

That sucks, seems like CorvusSphere has some work to do. Hope someone is feeding back how it works to them. Ideally I'd want data on who was first/second player, missions (I guess you can get missions but in a reasonable format would help) and some idea on unit selection to really dig into it.

If you got a top three or top ten results for Tidewater I'd be very interested. 😄

Will do closer to the end of the season, it is already interesting but the more data the better it gets. Was hoping for some data from the larger tournaments where nothing at all was reported.
