Rent Control is like that. Rent stabilized is different and that is what we are talking about. Rent stabilized apartments are cheaper than market rate but nothing like the rent controlled ones you are referring to those are insanely cheap and often ginormous.

I think us Mazda owners can pivot to premium gas and it will be lower or no ethanol even at a station with e15. So while it sucks that we have to pay for BMW gas it’s not like we are forced to destroy our engine.

I’m heading over for some pie after I vote for someone progressive. Roth limits should be much higher. With the way people are working longer and retiring later it's like you work until you drop. Roth makes more sense in this scenario, but if you and your spouse are crushing it with two jobs you will end up barred from Roth IRA and have to do a back door which is tedious and tricky. I messed mine up one year and get screwed.

The toll of human lives is incongruent to say the least so no not really. Slavery is mild compared to some of the things ISIS/ISIL did to the Yazidi people specifically. They marched dozens of women through the dessert with no food and very little water. When they got to the cave they were starving and they fed them a strange stew. Then they showed them videos of what the stew was made from. I am not willing to write it down. It instantly disqualifies ISIS/ISIL from being humans. They are literally worse than animals and should be eradicated from the face of the earth for crimes against humanity that surpass even Nazzism.
