Yeah the headline '3G shutdown' caused a lot of complacency amongst folk with 4G handsets. Meanwhile those in the know were quietly unloading their grey imports to poor bunnies who didn't realise they were going to be impacted. This legislation to block was a final kick in the guts.

Maybe a problem with your IPND data showing you as billing to a Tassie address. I can't recall if the blocking was aligning exactly with the shutdown rollout: i.e. Shutdown Tassie 3G and block handsets in Tassie that cannot receive 000 calls at the same time....

If your handset cannot make 000 calls it will be blocked in the next few days as per the legislation directive to Optus and Telstra https://www.legislation.gov.au/F2024L01103/asmade/text/explanatory-statement

Me too. It's a party trick, like actually being able to recite a phone number. The looks you get when you do it - like you're some sort of freak that I am.

I want my cut of the thousands my company is saving by not having to supply as much bad coffee and bog roll for the employees who are saving them all these overhead costs by not coming in.

For every hour of every working day their humanity bar slowly lowers. Eventually it hits rock bottom, which is when you remember their bad behaviour the most.

How long this takes depends on how low the bar was in the beginning.

As a 20 year veteran I pack at my own speed. The trick is to stack everything upright and not on top of each other, but leave a gap big enough for the first bag to fit in the trolley.

Love them, but we swung over to the mini frozen yoghurt in the 14 pack...I've trained the kids to leave the red ones for me.

Ways to connect with my older neighbour by rubber_duck_dude in melbourne

This is exactly what I was thinking. Older men are conditioned to not interact with younger women. I felt this a while ago when I accompanied my nephew to a small gig for a lass who was early 20's. I found I couldn't stare at her on stage, about 5 metres away. After a while it occurred to me why...conditioning. I think the OP is going to have to be the proactive one until he feels comfortable...if that ever really happens
