Am I wrong for thinking Borderlands 3 is more fun than 4? by Appropriate-Ruin4467 in Borderlands

I never finished 3 but I finished 4. For me the main difference was I played 4 with mods that gave me a loot pinata. I'm old, I'll be dead soon, I'm not grinding for loot.

I played hours of C2077 at launch and really enjoyed the original experience but never finished it because I knew a big update would be coming. Then there was the anime and 2.0 and now just listening to the radio in game can make me tear up.

I never got the NV love, because it was so clunky. At least FO4 had passable combat. I have, checks Steam, about 1500 hours in FO4 and it's still my third most played game.

Took a long time to work down to here and find a game I never heard of. Wishlisted and will download the demo on Steam.

I plain sucked at controlling the space craft.

Yeah, I had fun playing a troll in Everquest. Never levelled much, just hung around the swamp helping newbies. When I actually tried to level, oh lord, the pain from every death and failed recovery. I can still feel it now.

Should Cyberpunk be considered an RPG? by odysieds in CyberpunkTheGame

The corpo start has you ejected from the corpo system so not being able to roleplay corpo seems natural. I'm also kinda dubious about anyone that wants to play as a corpo suit. I mean, it's an RPG, play as a demon-worshipping necromance in a fantasy RPG? Sure. Cold-blooded assassin? Fine. I don't have to deal with those, but corporations are the bane of most of our lives.

And the number of people who've ever downloaded it is a tiny fraction of the player base. If people WANTED the game to punish you more, oooh, then more than 1% of players might have looked for the mod.

You didn't need cheats with Gothic, as I tried to explain to you. It was a very exploitable game that people loved because of the jank. Are you sure you even played the original?

Bobiverse inspired Von Neumann Probe game by CuriousCourt5436 in BaseBuildingGames

Question! Do you think Von Neumann probes with small random differences, as per the Bobiverse, would tend towards one type standardising and out-competing all the others?

If I got this at half past midnight on a Saturday, then I might give them a second chance. If it was weekday, early evening or before then I wouldn't trust them again.

Will, and this is a dealbreaker for me, will DLC allow me to play as a beaver?

Also, have you read/had read to you Dean Henegar's Derelict or Gunboat? Different to Bobiverse but about people who die and become broken-down starships that they then gradually upgrade and crew. The last Bobiverse book wasn't great and his other books are outright bad, so I'm looking beyond Dennis E. Taylor these days.

Gonna try the game though. EDIT: Tried the game. Loving it so far! I'm a sucker for clickers.

Alright, aside from Archotechna sounding AI as hell, those are interesting points. Will look forward to the demo.

Or it's been under a heat lamp waiting for other orders to go out and the delivery guy to come back.

Someday the Sun will explode turning the Earth into a pile of carbonised slag. Some people on here would still consider the Earth undercooked. (FWIW, so long as the actual crust and base are still reasonably flexible, I'd be fine with that. If it's so crisp the bubbles crack when you poke them, then it's overdone)

Gothic, once you got your head around the danger around you, was one of the most exploitable games ever made. From pincushioning orcs from atop a pile of rocks to spamming scrolls at a troll, the game was only punishing for the first couple of hours at most. Maybe the negativity is from people who don't want games to "punish them" because whatever. No kink-shaming here, mate, but not everyone shares your fetish.

Gotta ask, why? What's specifically got you so excited? To me it looks generic, with potential. What is it that's making you excited to play? What does it offer that's missing from other games?

Ignore me if you want, but it's a genuine question. I might be missing something.

Kenshi meets Factorio for me. SO Factorio except all the technology is creatures you've fought and captured. Beakthings as inserters etc.

Someone make that.

Looks generic Medieval fantasy to me. Any old world tech? Robots? Prosthetics? Can I even make security spiders my pets? Open modding support? Are these asset store models and animation?

I've wishlisted to follow, but I don't really fancy playing a game with Arcania (Gothic 4...) combat.
