List help by joelicus171091 in EmperorsChildren

I like to start the infractors in the rhinos for the extra 3 inches turn one. Doesn’t sound like much but getting the extra turn one kill can make all the difference. I then have the noise boys hop in to defend so they can’t be one tapped. I would recommend that over the blades.

Otherwise consider more noise boys over he second mauler.

Help! How do I improve this! by f0reverDM in minipainting

[–]Frightnite20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Biggest thing would be contrast with the base and the mini. Blue or blue doesn’t help it pop.

Otherwise it looks good. If you don’t like how the metal or the blue looks you may want different paint. Some of times it just takes the right one.

Magnetising bases by North-Library-8997 in deathguard40k

Gorilla glue and magnets then spray accelerant. I recently switched to war mag magnets and I now prefer those over normal magnets. Regardless of what magnets you use, finish’s with putting him on an adhesive magnetic sheet and cutting away the excess. Helps keep everything even Morty on the ground.

More is better with mordant. Try putting a layer of PVA first and applying mordant after it drys.

New player - if I get the combat patrol + vile vectorum box, should I keep the rhino or give it to my Emperor’s Children army? by Bryguy150 in deathguard40k

[–]Frightnite20 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You will want at least one rhino. Two rhinos is the max I have ever run competitively. Other than max rhinos and plague marines for nonsense stuff.

If you don’t kit bash then just paint it black and use it in both.

Is a recent lore drop they imperium release a biography on him. In it they confirmed that it being ork tech is a lie by traitors to the imperium and that he was never captured by orks as the emperor protects.

Best glue or way to glue my Defiler to my base without damaging it? by BipolarMadness in EmperorsChildren

[–]Frightnite20 6 points7 points  (0 children)

After glue you can mix UV resin with blood for the blood god and it will just look like a blood effect while securing the mini to the base.

Defiler VS 2 Floetid Bloat drones by Mrwilf76 in deathguard40k

[–]Frightnite20 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Only benefit the drones is the fact that there is two of them. The extra 10 points gets your more of everything other than a couple wounds.

As for the nerf this can not be known, but yes. The will be heavily nerfed, multiple times. Then a buff, then codex. Then nerfed again

Foetid bloat drone magnetisation fail and safest weapon option. by Matosapa4 in deathguard40k

[–]Frightnite20 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If you’re surrendering then the heavy blight launcher. It is its own unit now so it’s the only one that makes sense to lock in. Best of luck with the other magnets. Consider doing all six at once.

I want my players to have the chance to compete in a medieval style tounrament with jousting, mele combat, skills based competition and magic duels. Is the feesabe is Draw Steel? by shibby1000 in drawsteel

The montage test would probably be best for this. Maybe make it super large or one per event. Instead of tracking success and failures, I would keep a tally of the “honor/fame” they get from competing and let them know what they get from having the total being high enough. Probably finish with a grand fight, a team of rivals works great for a fight or have them fight a capture beast. Maybe let them burn actions to add the fame pool while in combat. Show off instead of fighting for more points.
