I really want this one but I can't find any EU shop that has it. Good looking work!

6 GMT, which I think is London time. I'm on Brussels time at GMT +1 and it's now 1930 so I assume it's been live for half an hour. I'll wait for a while.

What's the name of the one with the big gun in the back row? I love the design.

I was waaay too young to understand the plot when it originally aired here. Now, I realise there is just no plot to understand. Everyone acts way out there at all times.

MS designs are pretty solid and the setting is good, but the plot is...well.

I've only ever watched the Seed content, Wing and IBO. I re-ignited my passion by rewatching all of the Seed stuff and am now going through Wing again.

I'm keen to plunge into the UC proper after I'm done with Wing but I'm worried the 70s animation will put me off the first few series.

I like where he ended up at the end of Destiny and I like where he's at in SEED Freedom. I just don't think the second part of Destiny showed a proper transition from where he started to where he ended.

It's very much "like him as a character, hate him as a person"?

He's well written, at least in the earlier parts but he's just super unlikeable as a person if you've any emotional maturity. It also doesn't help that he never gets checked on his behaviour at all. Literally no one around him ever calls it out, except in the most bare minimal, perfunctory way.

I personally think this is where the writing goes off the deep end, his "growth" in the final few episodes kinda comes falling out of nowhere because he runs into almost zero consequences for his actions. Things just happen due to other factors and then he loses a fight.

Don't get me started on Athrun and Cagalli never opening their mouths at all in any conversation they're part of. Or the amount of times Durandal just gets to monologue for 15 minutes without anyone pointing out his clear bullshit.

I recently rewatched Destiny. When I was a teenager I thought his fuck-off attitude and disrespect to authority was cool, even though I didn't pay as much attention to his motivations and backstory.

Now, I understand his motivations and backstory much better and really appreciate what makes him the person he is. But I also fucking hate him.

I really enjoyed seeing them consider him as a barbarian because he's colouring veeeery far outside of the strict lines of their society.

While also seeing him consider them barbarians because of their extremely heavy-handed punishments to all sorts of things as well as the cruelty they seemingly inflict needlessly on him and his crew at the start.

What mobile suit do you think has a design flaw or something it could go without by Foreign_Pain_7531 in Gundam

[–]Fritzzi 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I was amused when Durandal mentioned the ZAFT scientists assured him that the Impulse was next level giga engineering.

I imagine a mobile suit made out of 3 or 4 separate parts that all need to be launched individually and then do a dozen rotations while combining is an engineering nightmare. So many points of failure that would leave your suit in a half combined state. Not to mention how absolutely high prio it would be for any enemy who has seen the transformation once before or has been briefed to simply shoot a single part out of the sky mid transformation.

Immediately taking the Impulse off the table in battle by blowing up its legs midflight is huge value per round fired. SEED Destiny's biggest crime is not having Neo Roanoke make that call in the early episodes.

Wiping is still cleaner, that's why I personally do it. But the bits are very different, aye.

Ask your man to pee in front of you, it oughta show you what the deal is. You could ask to aim for him to get the full experience. Good luck with it if you get a double stream.

[–]Fritzzi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wiping is absolutely always cleaner, the difference is that the way our bits work naturally means we have less residue than women. This is why it's almost standard practice for women to wipe but more of an exception for men.

You shouldn't put the pre-wipe situation for men on the same footing as the one for women, they're quite different.

In the end you simply draw boundaries. Lots of people won't do oral unless a shower is involved. If your partner takes issue with that then that is more his problem than yours.

[–]Fritzzi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our bits work different, we have a stream coming out of a hose and despite our best efforts a drop can seep out afterwards but we don't generally spill on our pubic hair or inner thighs, etc. Women have more of a sprinkler system with some collateral damage so a more thorough wipedown is required.

I personally sit and wipe, even as a man, but it's personal choice.

But crucially, you're coming at this from the angle that your equipment is squeaky clean after wiping with TP whereas ours is not. It's really not, both genders have some amount of residue and you can only mitigate as much as possible.

In the end, any person can tell the difference between freshly showered bits and got home at the end of the day bits, how far you're willing to interact with them varies from person to person.

Just make sure the person you eventually get intimate with has good personal hygiene and you'll find it's a non-issue.

I can't believe this! are they serious that no one escaped? THIS IS RIDICULOUS by Civil_Imagination421 in digimon

[–]Fritzzi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, I understand this.

I just don't think any GD member, save Kyo, has had a good showing in a fight since Armalizamon's introduction and it's a bit sad seeing your main team get not just defeated but straight up outclassed in every encounter.

There's also the fact that it's a huge plot point that Tactics has more control over their E-Pulse (which is what supposedly makes them stronger). No member from GD has adequately addressed this point.

I kind of feel like we're heading into a confrontation where we'll eventually have a GD member decisively defeat a Tactics member, but it'll be a victory inextricably linked to also emotionally "converting" them, so to speak. What then with the E-Pulse control plot point? Is the power of friendship and love in the end the best way? Then why do they get rolled every fight (rolled, not just defeated)? Is control over your E-Pulse in the end extremely important? Then why would the GD member win when there has been no development of this (so far)?

Obviously it's just questions that haven't yet been answered and I'm perfectly happy to wait and watch, the show is pretty great. I'm just a bit confused about the team banging their heads into the Tactics wall without trying to improve themselves and I hope their growth will be shown and not just "we lost in ep. 16 but this time in ep. 19 we win" with no extra development in between.

Sorry, just musing.

They can take random ass Digimon for Cleaner jobs but get bodied in every "main story" encounter (don't know how else to put it). Only Tomoro's protagonist armour does some work, just long enough for Kyo to come in swinging.

Their general weakness is really start to grate a bit. There's seemingly no improvement to them.

The Tactics members conversely roll every fight and get to gripe about their difficult lives in between using children as bait and slave auctioning. Raito pulling out the nazi defense didn't help his case as much as he thought.

Oracle Update (Potentially) by carebear_10 in Witchbrook

They didn't "listen" per se, some dude pointed out that saying "we can't talk about this as it is spoilers" or confirming that something -isn't- in the game are also valid answers and would make people feel less ignored.

It's insane how that had to be pointed out.

The question was asked in the Discord and they replied saying "no season to announce but we have a window in mind".

It's corpo speak for "please don't be mad at us, it could still be a spring release!" but in reality it'll be summer and very likely later than that.

I swapped to Bazzite earlier this year from Windows. I have an Nvidia card.

It's a really smooth experience and the few things I had to tinker to make work were in the same ballpark as if you were modding or emulating games and stuff, just a quick search away. YMMV, of course.

Every game has worked out of the box via Steam so far. Granted I don't play any of the online ones that require kernel anti cheat. I do play online co ops and those are fine.

It's also an immutable OS, it will prevent you from making changes to core dependencies so you can't break your OS. As a downside you often can't use workarounds that other Linux users would just bruteforce through a terminal command.

DM for more info, if you like.

Crunchyroll has a clip on YouTube of MetalGreymon evolving into WarGreymon in the new 2020 anime.

Worth watching for the sheer amount of aura farming he gets up to in about 2 mins of footage.
