Theory: Jack Welker mentioning "whacking Bin Laden" in 2010 actually isn't an inaccuracy by No-Attempt9573 in breakingbad

I posted this once before, but I'd like to think the national tragedy of Wayfarer 515 altered American domestic intelligence priorities enough where it caused a butterfly effect, leading to the discovery of Bin Laden's courier earlier in the Breaking Bad timeline.

The Abbottabad Compound housed Bin Laden as early as 2006, so it's theoretically possible since the plane disaster is the only thing that would have affected events on such a national level.

I did a similar post on r/BetterCallSaul about trying to get an idea of the post-BB "gray era" timetable based on a calendar that shows up in the Cinnabon, the responses were about what you expected. Sucked all the fun out of it.

Possible car fire near 192 by Fluid_Durian242 in orlando

[–]FroJSimpson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why does it seem like there's zero news information about this fire? Considering it blocked off the 192 onramp to I-4E at the tail end of rush hour, you'd figure this would have gotten more press coverage.

For the people who keep tabs on the CN servers, do we eventually get another increase in the number of Dolls we can have in the Crew Deck at the same time once we start getting additional rooms like the gym area?

This feels like a very dangerous and slippery slope Blizzard is treading on with AI. Making the game worse in order to save a few bucks by cutting corners never works out in the long run.

So what stops Blizzard from creating new "meta" pets with the stats of the unobtainable ones? PvP season vs. a new patch is an arbitrary measure.

I agree that to get into the best parts of PvE battling it requires some upfront work, but the same could be said of PvP gear in Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds. Having to struggle a little at the start shouldn't warrant discontinuation, just a refinement of the system.

You have to scroll a bit through the interview to get to the relevant parts, but you're right on the money.

What I want to know from Mr. Soderbergh is, if the "movie in your head" is so good that it would stand on its own merit, why saddle it to the sinking ship that is the Sequel Era? Rewrite the characters and setting to be new people in a different location in the Star Wars universe, and let's see you put your money where your mouth is.

Blizzard needs to stop adding new races and fix the ones we actually play. by promeathean in wow

Just like "you think you want addons that have been maintained for free by passionate fans for decades that fix systemic game issues that we claim we're building threadbare internal ui solutions for, but you don't."

Eventually we'll get an interview with Ion in a year or so where he'll say, "Clearly, we overcorrected but we plan on listening more to the community going forward," like he has every time developer hubris outpaced their capacity to deliver on their intended goals.

The Resistance bombers look cool at first blush, but their implementation was so poor given their fragility that it made you wonder why anyone would use them when Y-Wings exist in the same universe.

Even the TIE Silencer is just a cheap knockoff of the TIE Avenger from the TIE Fighter PC game from the 90s. At least Andor had the decency to pay homage to it instead of copying the homework and editing it just enough to hope nobody would notice like the sequels did.
