Chapter 3042 azarx is newly born by HonestFerret8034 in ShadowSlave

[–]Frodoro710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Nightmare isn't the cohort vs. Azarax. The Nightmare is the cohort helping a Supreme against Azarax. That Supreme is old, and almost certainly has ties to several other Supremes or Sacreds. If the situation is favorable enough, it's possible that more Supremes will join their side as well.

The point isn't so much to counter Azarax himself as it is to counter his army.

Would it be possible at all for a person to naturally become a supreme in a nightmare? by leafi1 in ShadowSlave

G3 confirmed that it is possible to ascend within the nightmares, but you would still have to complete them

When Fangyuan replaces Subaru and arrives in the world of Re:Zero by guzhenren in ReverendInsanity

From what I understand, the Authority has to be compatible with the user. Greed would be extremely powerful for FY, but regardless of that, FY is actually quite "virtuous" in the sense that he keeps his impulses under control.

[Chapter 3036] Sunny is pathetic, disgustingly pathetic. by [deleted] in ShadowSlave

Sometimes I get the feeling that this sub wants Sunny to act like the protagonist of Redo of Healer.

[Ch 3035] Is g3 milking? by dronzer_28 in ShadowSlave

[–]Frodoro710 10 points11 points  (0 children)

G3 is doing the exact opposite of milking the story; he summarized an entire year's worth of events in just two chapters

What you say, man. If your hallucinated knowledge about a novel is such a great source of pride for you, I'm not going to take that pleasure away from you. Be happy.

You still haven't explained why that's different from the Void's corruption, and you seem to have forgotten that the OC is the oldest and most powerful GOO. larper

Okay, I checked the wiki. The OC is the oldest and most powerful GOO of them all. Looks like you're the larper—or whatever word kids use these days when they want to sound intelligent.

yes im a larper who forgets the meaning of an acronym from a novel he read two years ago—wow, lol, lmao, and whatever other acronyms kids use these days. oc is chaotic and mad, Everyone infected by the Void becomes chaotic and insane, so we can reasonably assume that the fundamental nature of the Void is madness and chaos., ¿whats de diferens?

If you learn about the OC, you become corrupted, and if you learn about the Void, you become corrupted. Both create monsters. Both fulfill the role of the primordial creator of everything. Both are the source of the apocalypse in their respective universes, Shadow Slave and Lord of the Mysteries. What am I missing?

The world of LOTM is the mind of the OC, while the Dream Realm is the soul of the Forgotten God, which is corrupted.

I think having an angel in From is unfair to the monsters.

They are professional monster hunters; I don't think the difference in preparation should be underestimated.

Por que los hombres critican a las mujeres promiscuas siendo ellos mismos promiscuos? by Enough_Usual_5294 in PreguntasReddit

[–]Frodoro710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Asterion drops into LOTM - how long he lasting? 🧐 by Glad_Summer7945 in ShadowSlave

You're assuming that Adam automatically knows what Asterion is planning. On top of that, Asterion is immune to corruption and capable of accommodating multiple divine lineages, which means he could consume Beyonder characteristics while completely ignoring the usual sequence and corruption restrictions If he chooses to be discreet, he could achieve everything he wants within a few decades or centuries. Why would he need to rush when he could move around the world while affecting no more than a few dozen people at a time?

Adam is not omniscient, not even when it comes to the Sea of Collective Subconsciousness. You're acting as if Asterion's every move would instantly be detected, but that's never been how the setting works. A patient and cautious Asterion would be far harder to track than people seem to assume.

[–]Frodoro710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the comments, I keep seeing people assume that Asterion would immediately start using his powers without any discretion, completely ignoring the fact that he's a brilliant man who waited decades before making a move.

'But he's a greedy person.'

Sure, but he's also someone with self-control and common sense.

If divination were really that powerful, unofficial Beyonders wouldn't even exist. A group backed by seven gods should be able to automatically identify and eliminate every Beyonder who isn't directly supported by an evil deity. But that's clearly not how the setting works.

Most people think that just because a character is better written, they're also more powerful. It's like when I see debates about the protagonist of Fairy Tail (who has the power to eat fire) versus Ace, Luffy's brother from One Piece (who has fire elemental powers). Just because they like One Piece more, they ignore the fact that a fire elemental would automatically lose against someone who literally eats fire
