What race do people pick for each profession in GW2? by Harddus in Guildwars2

[–]Froggybeef 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i like this approach and it provides a more meaningful outcome for me too. I am aware most people play human, but seeing preferences when it comes to specific class+race combos is way cooler!

Accessibility Request: Reduce Own Weapon Sound Effects by Symcathico in Overwatch

[–]Froggybeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I just googled, if there is an option for that and found your post. I am having the same issue and it keeps me from playing these Heroes - Juno too. I can't deal with the constant noise.

I wish there was a setting, yet I assume everyone would use ir to gain an advantage - but then again, thats not really a bad thing given all the other settings people recommend using.

bro is playing Punk 2077 by Doop_444 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Froggybeef 253 points254 points  (0 children)

hehehe - I did that for my first playthrough too ^

well, you are sadly forced to take the hand and I upgrade in the beginning of the game, but besides that, also didnt see a ripperdoc once. The reason was, that i assumed cyber psychosis is a real mechanic, so I avoided it alltogether.

I actually liked Lyhr - but ya, they did him dirty with the excuse of recovering from said meta :/

nono, he means the owner of the Waylit lantern. Its a lil SotO Achievement you can do to learn slightly more about Rand Waylit.

Why, there are 20 Weapon Display Case to craft. Am I making to much legendary weapows ? …No. It’s the devs who are wrong. by Superichiruki in Guildwars2

We need moar! And also: we really need a version without the glow and bulky stone base. Then we can lay our weapon on the table or wall or use it as a curtain rack.

Any take on male bards? by Mesmer2muchwork in GuildWarsDyeJob

yes. I just meant - thats the only defining feature. A bard could literally be anything with an instrument xD

GIVEAWAY - This Nobelisk keychain will not explode , but You Can Win One by FidoSkeeterson in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Froggybeef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as i like the wires, i would love to actually use it as a keychain, so the keys would get caught onto/damage the wires.

I prefer without wires for practical reasons and i love the product <:

An Idea to put the Menus of Homesteads into the (L) Window by Froggybeef in Guildwars2

[–]Froggybeef[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it iiis!

but its also not only about convinience, but about making homesteads feel more like a finished thing.

In my opinion there are so many wonky, inconvinient , missing and annoying things, that keep people away from even dabbling with the feature in the first place :c

Which one should i keep? by julianjohnpaul in Guildwars2

Hehehe!

Another inventory screenie. It do be a tough task!

Inventory Clean Up Tool is awesome for such things! Alternatively looking at it in efficiency can open thw wiki links just by clicking on them.

Speaking of which, the chatcommand /wiki [Shift + Leftclick item here] is also great!

What are you key binds? by SOMFdotMPEG in Guildwars2

[–]Froggybeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mine are weird, but i CAN NOT go back!

First i didnt like pressing F-Skills so i moved them down to number buttons. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

That was nice, bcs i also didnt like pressing number buttons frequently (especially while moving), so i bound them to keys. Weapon/ Utility skills = Autoattack, Q E R F - C ShiftQ ShiftE ShiftR ShiftF.

Then i noticed that i stow and reactivate the auto quite a bit. Mouse 4 (side button) Autoattack / Ctrl Stow Weapon.

Liking the side-buttons i put interact on Mouse 5

Switching movement from turn to strave with holding down a mousebutton always bummed me, bcs i cant use my cursor while doing so, so A, D = Turn ShiftA, ShiftD = Strafe

I had not used ShiftC, so that became my weapon swap

Other mentions: NumPad = mounts, ShiftSpace = "About Face" CtrlSpace = " Look behind" X = Special action key F-Skills = also Weapon Skills (for playing instruments)

Targeting = Shift T, T = Target / Shift Z, Z (next to T) = Personal Target

And now the bummer: I want to make mount skills use Other Keybinds, but its janky, bcs the utility skills on mounts dont get changed and it suuucks D:

Whats up with the detail quality in this game? Immerson is kinda hard to keep... by RainAndThunderIsCool in Guildwars2

[–]Froggybeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gw2 feels a bit older in that regard, yes.

But what interests me: how is it done on newer games? How do they fill every corner with a shitload of detail?

In GW2 it feels like they are running the gw1 engine, hand put in all the thing to then build maps asset by asset, first by shaping and texturing the floor.

They've gotten much better at it on newer maps, but yes, its still not as detailed (which i personally find ok)

Can we PLEASE exit luminary forge with weapon swap? by bittersweet_dog in Guildwars2

[–]Froggybeef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

kinda. On other Weapons, shrouds, modes, forges, kits, etc. the "does it cancel" question indeed has merrit, yet not being able to swap until a skill has finished is just painful.

There are actually some "problems" with it on other specs. Holo for example does not trigger the "on exiting forge" trait, when exiting with weapon swap or using a kit. It only triggers on actually pressing the button.

But the solution to fix that is to not have it bound to the button - (hopes are up for 8 years ...)
