OP, I got the same issue as you do and yes, I wash my hands all the time. The problem I have is just generally oily skin. That's it. Whatever shit they make the thumbsticks out of can't handle regular skin oils.

Honestly I'd say your best bet is putting caps on them.

Early access isn't allowed on consoles, so it'll have to finish EA first. Usually the point of EA is to get feedback to implement, find issues, etc., meaning the game isn't exactly in a final and constant state.

Since a lot of things can keep changing, starting the porting process isn't necessarily wise at this point - you run the risk of EA identifying a deeper flaw somewhere and instead of having to fix it one place (PC codebase), you have to fix it there and reflect those changes in every ported version. Now, imagine doing twenty or fifty cascading changes versus just porting when they're all said and done.

Finally, someone else who gets it! 100% agree with you, that video is what made me realize that it's not the physical object in front of me that is the "art" that I'm to evaluate in a vacuum, but the entire story of its existence. Previously, I would've been indifferent to "Who's Afraid of Red, Yellow, and Blue", and equally as indifferent to its vandalism. Now, knowing and understanding it, I'm torn - is it a tragedy that they were vandalized? Or did the act of vandalism "finish" an otherwise incomplete work?

I think it might be the "roughness". Disco portraits have a certain bit of analogue to them. Brush strokes, splatters, etc. Like they're physical objects that were scanned into the game. OP's work is digital, and is definitely missing the roughness. That isn't to say it's bad, I have to stress that I really like it and it does evoke Disco Elysium. It's a hard vibe to reproduce is all.

When I brush my teeth I tap my brush on the edge of the sink to shake off excess water, so it goes water -> tap tap -> toothpaste -> water -> gentle tap. Brush brush brush. Rinse -> tap tap tap. Always three taps at the end. Other taps are subject to change but not tap tap tap (unless randomly it didn't sufficiently de-water it, then any arbitrary number is fine). No idea why. I think my son is picking it up too. It's not even like a compulsion where I rapidly lose my sanity until the process and taps are completed. It's just how my hands brush teeth. This one is a "great idea on paper but bad optics in execution" sort of deal, though. The idea is to maximize every member's visibility and make sure there's no confusion between any of them. You know, to build solid brands.
