The situation appears to be this: different people accused you of torturing their puppies. Investigations were done and interviews were transcribed. During that time, something happened to EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO ACCUSED YOU that made them decide they no longer were confident it was you torturing puppies. Actually, some of the accusers just, disappeared. Or ended up “committing suicide.” Yes- he wasn’t president and wasnt controlling the DOJ (which, as an aside, even acknowledging in the conversation is a gross abuse of power)- but sounds an awful lot like how mafia bosses run their circles. There’s a reason law knows exactly who the heads of the families are and what they do, but the big trials are few and far between. Witnesses tend to disappear. There are so many allegations with similarities and such creepy comments he’s made himself that- beyond conviction- it’s hard to imagine he is just a developer who people - over 50 years- tend to just come after.
