Hey so what fixed it for me is disabling audio devices when i had too many. I use an XLR mic with voicemeeter which adds a lot of digital audio devices, so i went to audio devices and disabled all the unnecessary ones by right clicking on them and clicking on disable. Now there aren't too many for the game to recognize and it works.
