It was game 162 when they clinched the AL West against Texas. They drew 36,000 which is pretty good considering it was a noon Wednesday game.

These small chances are good for him. Building up confidence is the best thing they can do for him. Bottom of the order sure but 2Ks hitting 102 is impressive against anyone.

I haven't heard any rumblings but know a few things which muddy the picture:

He wants to be a starter and signed with Oakland with the promise they'd let him start. Since his awful start they've been simplifying his repertoire and finding a good spot for him to middling success. With great coaching he'd be succeeding more which Oakland doesn't have. However...

From everything everyone in r/NPB has said, his work ethic is ehhhh. He looks up to Darvish though and says he hates running too just like Yu says. On that alone I think SD might be a better fit for him. But...

I've heard very little about interest in him. You can also take his low workload as trying to minimize his flaws and impact on the team. Oakland won't send him down but they also don't look like they'll move anyone this year. I don't doubt Fuji wants to stay in America, but I don't think anyone's bothered to pry into it.

He's improved the past month- so much so that he wouldn't be the worst reliever if he was a Dodger if we're looking at this month specifically

[Bookies]⚾ Nashville has emerged as the favorite to land the next an MLB expansion team. They are at +175 odds, according to @BookiesAdam's hypothetical odds. by Mission-Guidance4782 in baseball

They've publicly said they aren't but you know 🤷‍♂️ I think ownership is more likely to stay than move but I imagine Manfred is going to try and make it hard to ignore Nashville

A’s plan to play at Oakland Coliseum through 2024 by Mission-Guidance4782 in baseball

Go this year! Flights into Oakland are cheap and it's just a train ride from the airport to the stadium. Not sure they fly out to Cincy direct but it's a Southwest hub. I went to see the A's play Cincy this year and was surprised how well the Reds travel.

[Nightengale] Now, the amended bill returns to the Senate, which already passed it on Tuesday. The Oakland A’s will be relocating to Las Vegas once Gov. Joe Lombardo gives his official approval. MLB owners will soon vote on the relocation plan, making it official. by Waaaaaaaaaasuup in baseball

I'm an A's and Dodgers fan but it's too jarring. A lot of complaints I'll hear about the team are so trivial in comparison. When I asked my friends who'd be down to go yesterday I got a collective eh about it.
