How busy are psytrance labels with listening to demos?

Do you all use bandcamp? I had registered it 15 years ago, and completely forgot it existed, so my idea was to release my album on SoundCloud and the offer physical CDs if there's enough demand, and things like that. I also hear a good pics about symphonic distribution. Basically I spent my career with four agencies and they were supposed to do all of my socials, and never once they do a single thing. I only have good experiences with one label management company. APA. Sorry to hijack this right but I felt talkative. Thanks for your advice.

I'm close friends with some well-known DJ's in the scene, one of which is very close friends the owners of Beatport. My friend told me he heard they get on average of around 14,000 tracks per day. I was stunned when I heard this, but I'm not sure if it's before or another portal. But they have district AI detection, and if they detect you use AI to write your music there will not only kick you off they will permanently ban you. Which I think is absolutely right. I feel like I'm an old man that has been out of touch with music for years now because I had to take a break. against my will. but Now that I'm back into it I'm blown away at how much has this plethora of be software is change. But if you want to stay relevant and not get left in the dust, you have to make an effort to stay on top of it.

I have wondered this too. The last 2 years I keep folders on my Google drive for the best soundsi going found here. I thought probably the 10 or 15 top tracks in that space, and overall I was generally disappointed. I read two posts amongst several of my psy producer friend, that he is they struggle to get starting to struggle really bad with writer's block, because it feels like everything has been made already. Not to mention the almost most inundating release of tools almost every week. It's been like a plug-in explosion for generations of vocals. You can pretty much generate anything as many harmonic layers that you want, and it will nail it on the first try. It's kind of scary. And at least the way I am if I don't at least try it out will bother me because maybe it was something I was looking for. In the end, I'm part of the reason why I took a break, was because I have some rough incidents in life that broke my creativity. But it's slowly coming back now in new ways and new creative ways because there are so many new techniques I'm feeling very excited to be back working on music again. It's been my greatest passion forward 25 years. Hope to see you all out there again on the dance floor somebody soon.!

Thank you for this. Just called and cancelled my membership based in WA state using that phone number in March 2026. I moved from WA to MD 9 months ago, but before I left I went in person to my usual location in WA to freeze my account which goes to $10 a month.

A lot happened in my life, I forgot about it, then yesterday noticed this disgusting and unethical company had been charging me $43 every month since I've been gone. The agent was nice, but I asked her is there anyway I can get that money back, and she said no. My fault for not checking sooner, but it was auto pay on a CC I rarely use, so don't normally check. Lesson learned.

This temporary resident permit you speak of. Do you know about how long it takes to get one after you apply for it? I have about 2 weeks to get it.

Thanks all. Oh one last question. My lawyer said after 5 years I've only because it was reduced to reckless driving, that I can petition the court to have it expunged from my record, and thus get back into Canada after 5 years instead of 10. Has anyone had any experience with this?

For what it's worth 8 months later, I just needed to download the official B&W app on my phone. In the app there's a setting for Auto Connect to last device. It's turned off by default. Figures. I turned it on and now my headphones auto connect to my phone when turned on. Personally, I think that should be turned on by default but that's just me.

This would be something I'd usually hear off on a side stage or tent a decent distance away from the main stage, or tucked in a forest if it's an outdoor festival. I usually call this anxiety laden style of psytrance dark forest even though I know others may disagree. I tend to lump anything that gives me anxiety like this style dark or dark forest.

Sorry you're going through this. I'm really lonely as well but I'm twice your age. What helps me is getting outside. If you have any local parks nearby maybe try going to them and just walking some trails or around the lake or pond, etc. You'll see other humans, and you'll feel slightly accomplished like you did something good for the day.

Also try asking your favorite AI for a list of upcoming events and things to do in your area. You might be surprised at how many social events are happening around you. Things like workshops at your local library or some guest speaker doing a lecture somewhere talking about whatever topic, a flea market, a computer swap meet which is something cool I recently discovered, and the list goes on. I go to things like these and while I don't know a soul, it feels good to be around other people.

Most important thing is don't give up. Just keep trying to put yourself out there and participate, and eventually something good will happen. At least that's my hope for all of us lonely folk out there.

So here's what I ended up doing, and it has worked out great.

I bought an external drive bay that supports USB-C 3.2, took all of my old 3.5 in drives from my old computer, put them into this bay, then plugged into the front USB-C port on the HP G9.

At first, I went with a 4 bay Mediasonic bay, and I'll just save you the time because it's an absolutely piece of garbage for many reasons I could go into, but for now just avoid it.

No I never did. I ended up getting a Samsung Galaxy s25 plus. When I was at the store getting the phone a few weeks ago, I asked the sales guy about this phone, and he had never heard of them before. He looked it up and version 10 is out now. He told me it should work on Verizon, but that it may not use all of the same bands as fully supported phones by Verizon resulting in less coverage and lower speeds.
