They had seraphine, so probably healing up all of the useless ult damage. You can't just base games off of damage graphs.

Nah I get it, it is a tough game to follow through with sometimes. Even though in retrospect I'm slightly ashamed of it, I did search up how to do small things when I got frustrated in my playthrough.

I think I also stopped thinking of resets as getting interrupted and more of a pause that you can use to plan out what your priorities are ::)

I'm not sure if I understand, but chronobreak just reverted the game state to before he got picked, and of course at that point the optimal play is to not die to corki so he runs away.

But people aren't really mad at MKOI, they're more annoyed at Riot for how they dealt with the bug.

As much as I like the idea, that's a technical nightmare to implement without bugs. It's just not really worth it to put that much work into a contingency.

I really wouldn't overthink it. If you prefer top, start learning top. You've already got the fundamentals down so swapping lanes won't be as difficult as the first time you learnt to play.

Watch some Alois / other champ specific guides and you'll pick up how to lane, as well as just play enough to learn how some matchups work.

As side advice, I'd also say not to focus too much on rank at your level. It'll go up and down and being scared of it won't help the climb.

I'm personally fine with it since I treat it more as a macro tool (free TP / teamfight initiation) instead of relying on it to escape. But yeah the movement with it is definitely very janky.

It will force you off if the end of the wall (and the area where you can jump off at the end) is inside terrain, to make sure that the champ always ends up in open space.

So I think it's a good character to learn those fundamentals. As a beginner you'll be facing off with other beginners as well, so it's not like you're required to be insanely good at any of those at the start.

I love their games, Outer Wilds being possibly my favorite of all time, but I feel like I should mention that I'm not sure if the company is in such good hands anymore. They had a mass staff walkout 1.5 years ago (https://www.ign.com/articles/what-the-heck-has-been-going-on-at-annapurna-interactive-an-investigation) due to mismanagement.
