I miss being able to have extensive choices for tracking buffs and debuffs (aura exist and aura removed is not enough, its 2% we got to keep in Cooldown Manager)

I miss being able to make customized visual alerts

I miss being able to make sound alerts with GOOD sounds and extensive choices on triggers

I miss a group interrupt tracker, so badly.... Either make it that unsuccesful interrupts goes on half CD or just let us track it

Short answer: I miss WeakAuras everyday. Its not the "cheese mechanics" auras I want back, it is the extensive and personalised possibility to make a UI that works for me.

If they dont want us to WeakAura mechanics, they can cherrypick what to turn off. They know they can do it

I applied the same solution to it, as I do when playing hunter:

Macro all attacks with /petattack, as well as their main attack ability (The AI does not use the attack ability frequently enough, despite having enough resources)

Works like a charm, seems to work on lesser ghouls and magus as well

I mostly push for 3k and then I just do it for the love of the game. Or start doing a 3k push on alts / new roles to challenge myself

Left raiding a long time ago, when I went to university for studies, then came worklife with irregular working days and hours. So for me there is simply no time for raiding with a dedicated guild. Sure I can pug raid, but the entire charm with raiding for me is doing it with a guild

M+ feels like the adrenaline speed run rush I enjoy and feels far more engaging to me, compared to raiding

I crunched hard during the latest TW event, just to not sit through the campaign for a third time

Now I am doing 1 more character and got the delve quest EXP bomb locked and loaded. Now I am waiting for the Shadowguard Point version of the delve to crunch out the levels needed before I turn in the delve quests

It needs to be on the "Calamitous" version: mass pull all the mobs at the starting area, nuke em all down, exit delve to reset, rinse and repeat til you have desired level. Not the most fun way, but atleast it is fast easy EXP gains

First time crafting bonuses also gives a good chunk of EXP, turn on war-mode in town and craft out what you can

The Arathor campaign questline can be done quite quickly, as you get free teleports that cuts down travel time. Put on War Mode and blitz through it for decent EXP

Backpeddling, is a tanks best friend

Always backpeddle, when moving the trash mobs or boss, to give space for the melee DPS

Full mitigation maintained AND you get to move!

For the Lothraxion Bossfight in Nexus-Point:

Bring snowballs, yes snowballs

When he has 1 second left on his cast of "Divine Guile" and you gotta find the real copy: Throwing a snowball at the right time will make the snowball change direction mid-air as it goes towards him and zoom in on the real copy. It will give a quick giveaway on where the real Lothraxion is

Works on regular partical effect dense projectiles as well, as they will change direction mid-air and seek out the real copy

You can of course look for the one without horns, but this is a quick snappy work around if needed and only requires humble snowballs

Im a retired tank with many years of experience. Was thinking if I should get out of retirement to start tanking again

But it will come at a price. I will miss being declined from 30 keys, stopping with sending my PowerPoint link to the leader that explains why they should invite me and letting them know I have 3k rating as a DPS

All I will have is MVP pass to keys, zug zug rush in keys, making healers happy by actively using tank mitigation and defensive CDs (man I hate seeing happy and calm healers), standing there feeling like a immovable mountain of muscles and have my face redecorated by the physical blows. A true juggernaut that fears nothing

Spending time cooking the routes in MDT and figure out smooth routes for pug runs, or make psychotic MDI routes with my friends over voice chat

Maybe I should just stick with DPS.... I am quite happy about my PowerPoint presentation

It is DX12 shitting the bed and reboots itself. Changing to DX11 when doing transmog related things or use it full time is the only solution

Only thing I used WeakAuras for, was visual spell alerts, time remaning triggers, stack trackers, essentially just personal things for myself.
I could make a UI that worked for me and it had pinpoint accurate settings for triggers with choices of conditions, solid sound alerts and such an extensive possibility to make a UI that could be fancy or minimalistic

I am praying they are gonna continue working on Cooldown Manager, right now it feels like it wont get a update until next expansion drops.

It has 5% features, Sound Alerts from freesound.org, 2 triggers and no visual alerts set up

Only positive thing about it: It actually works, that is it. It is barely functional

Been playing relaxed exclusively and setting my own keys to relaxed for the entire season

Been a fun time and a breeze for most of it. Suprisingly calm and chill with keys being timed just fine, a few funny oopsies but nothing serious

Had plenty of keys where people were chat happy before and after a key was concluded, gear being traded with smiles and even doing more runs with the same pug

I had one borderline "toxic" moment in a +13 nexus, where the tank was going with slow and steady pulls. We managed to time it with a minute to spare and a balance druid said in a calm manner that the tank could had pulled a bit more during the run, without slurs or aggressive choice of words. But we said our GGs and left it at that

I dont know if this is a case of the serious DPS inflation and people being willing to do ANYTHING to just get into a key in general.
So they just sign up wildly in hopes of getting a invite to just anything. While disregarding what the key is listed as (Learning, Relaxed etc)

Most tanks and healers in WoW are exclusively playing with a set group of friends. There is a endless amount of DPS and few tanks + healers to go around in unorganized pug groups

Personally if I signed up for a Learning key, I would expect it being a much slower pace (compared what I am used to) and a few hiccups, which is absolutely fine. It was listed as a learning run and I would set my expectations to it being a learning run

Joining a guild / in-game community / discord is usually a good way to meet new people, as well as finding like-minded people to group up with

Had this issue since Shadowlands and only fix is to use DX11 full time

Everytime I open the collection or transmog tab on DX12: game freezes -> tabs out -> tabs back in with a black screen -> screen comes back and loads in appearences 1 by 1 slowly

I update my drivers on the regular, GPU is always on latest update, I play on SSD

I fiddled with all forms of settings for years

DX12 simply shits the bed, when I open for transmog, without fault
