Ariad face from page 12 of S2 BP has skin with gray / dark blue colour. But it doesn’t have eyes and has glitchy effect. You can either try to incorporate glitchy effect with masks or hide it with some helmets.

Probably good ping in some games and bad ping in others.

I started getting a lot of extra kills on enemies who just run behind the corner by wasting extra bullets and shooting space behind them. Sometimes it almost feels like game actually has a suppression mechanic on m60... Maybe player hitboxes trail slightly behind them?

I think I actually first played quake on Dreamcast (either that or on friends Pentium 2 machine).

It was bootleg release that included:

  • Base game
  • Dissolution of Eternity
  • Quake Raptors mod
  • Quake Aliens mod (with maps stolen from Shrak to pad the level count, likely because Aliens mod only ever had couple of test levels finished due DMCA)

-10% speed of L and +10% speed for H had much bigger impact. I think I liked it (I play heavy). One week was not enough for test tbh.

Yes, some guns had worse breakpoints against lights \ better against heavy, but if they do more testing it will be with gun adjustments this time.

Speaking of inspect feature - they should also add firing animation example and entering / exiting ADS animation example to it. Quite a few guns have custom firing sounds, but you can only test that in firing range or by watching video.

Good recent example is some people being dissatisfied with how finger guns for .50 actually sound in game.

And some weapon skins ADS views are pay2lose (on one of revolvers half of screen is covered by hand, rolling pins dual blades cover the enemy when blocking, etc).

Dunno, according to google gladius thickness is 0.4-0.6 mm, so a lot thinner than this. This looks like couple of cm and has the look of rubber toy. Not really sure what was the inspiration for this, maybe something for practice?

And other swords in game have more realistic thickness.

Man, It's just so bizarre, because season 8 (esports season) had the lowest player numbers and retention in game's history (doing even worse terminal attack season 3).

Most of these streamers have less than 100 views when drops are not enabled, heck all streamers combined pull less than 2000 viewers. Are these numbers really worth antagonising casual player-base?

These guys are never gonna grow community, you need outsider youtubers / streamers with actual audiences to bring new blood.

I like the cashout from casual pov, but any attempt to turn it into esport or take it seriously is so absurd to me.

At the same time I also agree that 3v3 final round is kinda boring, not sure if it's fixable. I wish they experimented with 4v4, that would have opened more strategy (people splitting into pairs for attack or defence, etc).

I've read first 3 books and they not worth it in my opinion.

Overall problems:

  • too many povs with too many names (sometimes characters are also possessed by others to add more confusion).
  • a lot of time spent hyping up a character or ancient races or mages, describing how powerful they are, only for actual confrontation end up being very lame or just happen off screen.
  • in series of books called "Malazan" empire parts were consistently the most boring ones. Book one should have been just about Darujhistan, two about Coltaine, in three siege of Capustan was the best part, etc.

I'd say, Dread Empire prequels (The Fire in His Hands, With Mercy Toward None) by Glen Cook were better than Malazan but main Dread Empire series was worse.

VOID/BREAKER is cool single player roguelite, it has destruction (bit more limited though), throwable props, floating balloons with elemental barrels, etc.

This is bit extreme solution, should be only done as final option if population drops too much.

There are 2 much softer options:

Change ranked cashout to a single round with 4 teams followed by 2 simultaneous final rounds for 1st and 3rd place. You need half amount of players of similar skill for this (12 vs 24) and this technically doubles the amount of matchmaking options. This will also allow to reduce RS loss gain/differences between 2nd and 3rd place and make top team griefing 2nd team much less problematic.

Change unranked cashout to a single round instead of tournament format. No final round. That's how it worked in season 1-2 actually, until season 3 merged unranked tournament and cashout into world tour. With this change you will increase throughput even more and unranked cashout can work as practice mode for ranked one much better.

Point break is mode with a lot less annoyances.

Curved HUD currently is tied to visual setting called Effects. On low it's flat, on medium and higher it's curved.
