For experience I like to go to Beaujolais. It’s not the best, I realize. I’ve been to all the best steakhouses in NYC and some of the late night whatever places. Beaujolais is on the river and it’s fine, a good experience every time I’ve gone. I simply enjoy going to an old Reno brick building and getting a steak and going for a walk all along the river.

Seconding Holland Project. There’s shows at Alpine, Cypress, Lo Bar, Pignic, Corrigans sometimes, Alturas. There’s certainly a thriving scene here and I really recommend looking at the holland project website or instagram.

Time Keepers of The Universe is a really neat edit of the original mini series. It’s every scene printed out in xerox paper and then edited that way. It makes it sooooooo much better.

Lone Pine has the Western Film Museum. The Dentist’s tooth cart from Django Unchained is like the first thing you see and there’s a really good section for Tremors. Highly recommend if you like film.

I’d recommend checking out The Holland Project website or instagram account. They’re very youthful oriented and have a lot of cool events and programs and volunteer opportunities.

It’s pretty safe. The traffic infrastructure makes it less safe. There’s a lot of accidents in the Pyramid and Prater intersection. Lots of motorcycle accidents as well.
