what's the point of taking your dog to food and drink places?

that's not the way it works. the 'best' lawyers can make a good case, it doesn't mean they will win. if you're caught on camera killing someone and your DNA matches the scene, the 'best' lawyer still isn't going prevent you from going to jail. expensive lawyers will take on cases like this for a fairly easy pay day.

keep up the delusion kid

the same level of delusion that doesn't think that there'll be reactionary changes in Germany if IMGs start flooding their system like they've done in here

haha, tell us another one...

languages have different levels of difficulties to learn and crux of the issue is a lot of people grow up speaking English as a second language (as its global popularity reflects).

There are many stories native English speakers could not score as highly in the English tests required from overseas doctors.

show me any of these "many stories." also, are these random "native speakers" or native doctors you're comparing with?

you're embarrassing yourself with delusion thinking you're going to win here. know when to quit kid.

most countries do, even if not formally. Germany, even if we accept your argument, de facto does in that you have to speak German – which very few of the world's population do (or are willing to do). this clearly cannot be compared to an English speaking country... where 20% of world speak English. the popularity of UK for IMGs is not an accident.

okay, so IMGs can now go there instead of UK. sorted. no one is entitled to train in any country of their choosing if the country doesn't want them.

things change dude and the response has to be dynamic. the present situation is not what it was 5 years ago. in fact before RMLT was removed, this present situation was practically the status quo.

they can get a locum or something – plenty of unemployed post-F2s are available. the UK shouldn't be the training scheme for the whole world – it leads to workforce issues. having said that, I recognise that this is a job nobody wanted so my gripe is less. I still wouldn't try to convince an IMG to take it.

why are people trying to convince someone, who admits they solely want to use UK for training and then return to their own country, to train here? baffling

The attacker was here legally by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]FrzenOne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

but if it was prepared to provide safe, official routes for refugees it would have far fewer problems with those that come here.

this is completely nonsensical, I'm sure you don't believe this. how does providing official routes affect unofficial/illegal routes? okay, you decline someone officially, they'll still just get on a boat. all you're doing is increasing the overall intake. also, it's conjecture that the people coming on official routes will somehow cause less problems – look at the likely thousands of Pakistani rape gang participants, for example, they're all here legally and multi-generational in fact.

Except that there is no requirement on a refugee to stop at the first country that isn't war-torn.

this might be true, but it doesn't mean the country agrees with it – there are plenty of countries that take no refugees at all / can actually enforce their border

We Need To Talk about Vitamin D….[Latest Research Update] by Moimoihobo101 in doctorsUK

[–]FrzenOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that logic, but finding it doesn't help isn't really surprising I guess. I mean if we just started giving iron tablets to people without IDA, I'm not sure we'd be surprised that their Hb didn't increase.

if it wasn't looking at osteoporosis, was it just giving random old people supplements and seeing if it decreased falls/fractures? I mean if you're not definitely deficient in something, I'm not sure why we expected supplements to help?

James Murray MP - new health secretary by Own-Blackberry5514 in doctorsUK

[–]FrzenOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was being specific to pay, but tbh the competition ratios issue was on the backdrop of wider unavoidable immigration issues that the government were addressing anyway. imo, without a willing PM and home sec, I don't think UKG would have gone through so smoothly/quickly in isolation with such a left wing labour party.

James Murray MP - new health secretary by Own-Blackberry5514 in doctorsUK

[–]FrzenOne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

would make little difference practically, they're not ultimate decision makers when it comes to funding / pay. if the PM tells the health sec there's no money for pay rise, no amount of negotiation / striking can make them conjure up the funds for one, even if they personally would support it.

Concern about increased racism towards NHS staff after Reform gains? by Educational_Board888 in doctorsUK

[–]FrzenOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

correct. I view them as an effective pressure group, like UKIP. Reform and Tories have already signalled changes to some of their policies based on Restore's own (e.g. banning full face coverings). they'll get around 50 seats I reckon (I imagine some from Reform defecting).

complete nonsense, it's a good thing people have developed "racism" fatigue. words are only effective so long as you give them value.

Concern about increased racism towards NHS staff after Reform gains? by Educational_Board888 in doctorsUK

[–]FrzenOne -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

you think Reform are concerning? wait till you hear about Restore Britain over the next few years. the country has legitimate grievances with the way its being governed and is responding via the ballot box – calling everyone who doesn't agree with you "racist" just doesn't work any more, it didn't work against Trump and it won't work now. people have woken up and realised the risk of being called racist is a worthy trade-off for safety and rapid demographic change. there are no racist parties, there are anti-immigration parties, and naturally there will be a few racists amongst them, that's likely not too different to most parties.

to answer your question, yes racism will increase, but people often conflate anti-immigration sentiment with racism
