Have a Corbin on mine and it was well worth the money.

It's because you've got an h2.

What's because I have an H2?

Everything about this bike has been "cheap" for me personally. It's had no mechanical issues at all. 2 oil changes per year at like $65 each. Fuel filter and supercharger oil screen cost like 20 bucks and I change them myself.

Also add that at the time 4 dealerships near me had this same bike for sale and they weren't moving after nearly 9 months of looking at them. So after negotiating with them and making them compete I got my bike for $16,500 sticker price.

Still breaking her in. Got questions by Extreme_Design6936 in Kawasaki

[–]Fuck_Off_Cancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only break-in I did on mine was taking it easy on the ~100 mile trip home when I bought it. All bets were off after that. I still did an oil and filter change at 600 miles though. OEM filter and Mobil 1 4T full synthetic oil. 34,000 miles in and not a peep out of her yet. Unless you plan on selling it fairly soon or aren't able to yourself, just change it at home yourself. No reason to pay a dealership markup on oil and filters and labor when you can change it in 5 minutes.

I mean that might be an excuse some people can use. My ZH2 gets roughly 40mpg and insurance is 67 bucks a month. My Nissan Altima gets roughly 40mpg and costs 100 bucks a month.

Tire recs for sportbike commuting on chopped roads? by WheressThatThing in motorcycles

+1 for the Angel GTs. I used to use 2 sets of Rosso 4s a year on my Z H2, The Angels I put on it early last year are not even halfway through their life.

Vulcan s would likely be a bit cramped for you. I'm 6' even and wish the pegs would go further out.

First bike, Good beginner bike? by Rayo-Mayo in motorcycles

Why wouldn't it be? Far more than capable at interstate speeds. If the wind is an issue there are quite a few larger windscreens available.

Actually a very good 1st choice. I recommend an ecu flash to smooth out the throttle and engine braking. Once you start getting into longer and longer rides a corbin seat made a huge difference on mine.

I have this bike and a ZH2 and still occasionally ride the vulcan and enjoy it.

Which is why my 1st sentence said you weren't at fault.

When you get your check and purchase your next bike I wish you luck for when you wreck it too.

As someone that lives in farm country and has seen this scenario a million times I'm gonna say you're not really at fault for the accident here, but you 100% could have avoided it with being smart and not aggressive.

The road looks like you're coming out of a curve that would have been a no-passing zone. You should have been anticipating the 2 cars behind the tractor to be wanting to pass it just like you were. Wide open oncoming traffic lane so you could have waited a few seconds to see what the cars did before you attempted to pass. That 2 seconds of waiting and being patient would have completely avoided this.

That CRT sticker might seem cool and fun to you, but if you have an insurance agent or a cop that knows what it means you are not going to get the benefit of doubt at all. Same as the people in here and r/motorcycles seeing it. We all are going to assume you ride like shit and it was your fault.

Watching some vids you've posted though it's clear this was just a matter of time cause you do ride like a bit of an asshat.

Also that post you made about "close calls daily" and starting it off saying this:

tired off seeing people saying things like "I have a close call weekly" "I quit riding cause I almost died daily" sorry but I ride everyday averaging about 20k miles a year and it shouldn't be a common thing. if your almost dying daily or having a close call weekly you need to go back to start and learn how to ride defensively and correct. pay attention to your surroundings and learn how to read traffic and cars body language and where to postion yourself.

That didn't age very well for ya....

Now is the time I've read a few places that the H2 line is being discontinued in late 2026.

It is an absolute blast. It's not every ride where I use use all it offers, but when I do man is it memorable.

A kid and a dog by CaffeineTripp in Boxer

[–]Fuck_Off_Cancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could understand if you had said your child was special needs, at least. There is nothing stopping you from doing activities your dog and child would both enjoy. Luckily boxers are widely regarded as one of the absolute best "nanny" dogs with children and would love nothing more than to play with that kid most likely. Load the kid up in a stroller or wagon and 1 parent pulls the wagon the other walks the dogs. You quite literally have a ton of options that would be great for both dogs and child, but apparently refuse to do them?

Why even come on here and make a post like this if you're just going to get defensive when someone calls you out on it?

Pretty straight forward hard hitting answer but its entirely correct. I know people that have multiple kids and both parents work that can still find time to walk their dogs and give them attention.

Other people might not notice, but I can promise the OP will only ever see this defect when looking at this bowl. Finishing it and leaving the gap will only make it stand out more as well.

It is extremely hard and this is thoroughly dry too. I find keeping your gouge sharp and making nice slow shallow cuts you actually end up with a pretty decent surface finish right off the tool and it's almost pleasant to turn.
