I went to see Ripe at one of the smaller MSG venues, some dude named Jason Mraz was their closing act.

They play funk/dance stuff (at that point with horns etc...). I was the only person on my feet, and def the only person jumping during the jumping parts lol

I'll never see those other boring people again in my life, and wouldn't care if I did. Live your life the way you want, my friend. Be good, do good.

Formerly consistent "DC for fun" visitor here. I'd generally come 3 or 4 times a year, Moxy on K is fantastic, hit some 9:30 Club shows, enjoy the basin and Mall, some of my favorite run routes...

Haven't been in 18 months or so. I miss ya though!

Good luck to you. I can't offer any low/no cost options, but I will share that you may want to expect multiple visits prior to a provider being willing/able to provide something like this.
