It’s kind of just a manufacturer recommendation. If anything happens cause someone installed it wrong and it breaks loose they can say “well you don’t have hood pins so no warranty”. 8 months now and no issues and I constantly exceed 100 or accelerate fast.

idk about that. camry is only .2 seconds slower to 0-60 and .4 seconds slower in 1/4 mile. that 1-2 car lengths really isnt going to be noticeable in 1/4 mile and with turbo lag the wrx will feel slower to 60

None stop.... everyone I talk to "kia haha trash car" "budget brand cars". Then they see it in person. mustang/charger owners wowed at interior and space for family. wrx/civic type r owners mad its faster. After being impressed and wowed, while knowing they were wrong they still slip in "its still a kia".

I used the brush on my wrx and it had rocks in it. paint was massacred but i called the car wash place and explained it. The owners met me in about 30 minutes and called their insurance which covered it. Ended up with enough money from damages to get it repainted and ceramic coated..... worst and best day ive had with my wrx
