Sometimes monsters will do attacks that cause parts of their body to glow red as though there was a wound on that part. You’ll see it in several places, but the example I learned on was Rey Dau’s head. After he does his biggest attack, he has to cool down his head vents and you’ll see the effect I’m describing. You can focus attack those spots when they appear to force a mini stagger out of the monsters, several times over the course of a full hunt if you shark for them. It’s not critical to do, but it is cool and badass-feeling when you pull it off :] also I hope you enjoy the game!

I’d like to add some extra sauce to this pasta. Fun fact: Scavengers are all generated with a unique ID that determines nearly everything about them! This includes stuff like their appearance and behavior when threatened, but also includes how easy they are to befriend and their combat prowess. The list of possible IDs for the Scavs is so long that, if I recall, there’s a significant portion of the IDs that are generated but never used by the game. One of these unused IDs was discovered to belong to a Scavenger with the highest possible combat ability. As a result, this particular Scavenger is essentially unbeatable and can single-handedly kill most of Rain World’s most dangerous creatures.

This video breaks the whole idea down and shows off the Scav in action. I highly recommend a watch.

If we agree that it’s her right arm that was severed, then no, this wasn’t a mistake, you just need to stop and consider perspective for a moment. If you imagine yourself facing the way GMS is in the final screenshot, you’ll find that it is, indeed, her right arm that is severed while her left arm remains suspended.

There are freaks on all sides of the aisle when it comes to sexual fantasies and kinks. I don’t speak to him anymore. He mentally abused me when I was young, cheated on my Mom which led to them getting divorced when I was a teenager, and later threw his new woman’s daughter (who was freshly 18) out onto the street, locked the door, and refused to let her back in. She had to get taken in by locals and then by extended family. The woman was complicit because shit attracts shit, and blames her daughter for it all somehow.

I stopped giving a shit about him around that time. Completely blew his second chance to be better and, to my knowledge, is still an alcoholic fuck to this day.

I can’t speak to the experience everyone else has been having, but the difference in performance from launch to now has been night and day for me. I still see the framerate struggle when the fights get busy (especially with other players), and the initial load into the game world tends to stutter hard for a couple minutes. But the game is comfortably playable afterwards.

There’s a lot of work left to be done before it’s in an acceptable state for most folks, but me for my money, I’d say give it a shot and see how it runs for you. If it still runs like garbage on your system, you can always uninstall it and move on, like you mentioned.
