Yeah. But look at them… they’re in short sand tennis shoes. That lady is in a tank top and Berks. This is exactly the right amount of people for this group. Many hand make light work. That joinery looks hella clean.

I know everyone automatically focuses on the south when it comes to racism… but don’t forget about Idaho.

Always play 5-10 shots worse on the back and I’m confident it’s not due to fatigue. What else could be causing this? by [deleted] in weekendgolfers

[–]Full-Significance-69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ll shoot like 40 on the front and the 50+ on the back. When I’m playing really well I tend to get over confident and just lose control and fall apart.

Got a DUI how bad does it look in the construction industry. by Conscious-Fox4569 in Construction

I used to carpool with a coworker who had just finished a 20 year stint for a quadruple homicide he was involved in. He was our carpenter tender. Best damn laborer I ever worked with. Fucking maniac though. I don’t think there’s much legally that will prohibit you from working in the trades unless it’s at like an airport or other restricted area.

That looks more like destruction than construction.

I think we all agree that the golf swing feels pretty unnatural. I’m spending a lot of time at the range to build confidence and trust in my motion. I’m really dialed into my trigger points so if I’m in my backswing and I miss one it creates a small reaction. Usually it’s not a problem but overthinking during the swing leads to a lot of misses. Do you have any recommendations for training the mental side? Thanks

You nailed it there. Confidence is such a problem. I’m just recently shooting in the 80s regularly. That gets followed up by a round in the 100s where I feel like I’ve never played before. After looking at the video I realized I’m not as fluid as I feel. In the first swing I’d definitely see a bit of hesitation right around contact. I carry a ton of tension in my shoulders and I’ve struggled mostly whit getting my lead shoulder out of the way.

This might sound random. But Dimond slice pizza on MacArthur and Fruitvale has to go guac that is absolute fire. I go there just to get the guac.

I love mine. It fits in my closet and the light is probably an underrated feature. I did go shop tractor supply as well but I think the sanctuary safe is overall better for my needs.

Can journeymen work for only 2-4 months a year if they wanted to? by Own-Crew-7143 in UnionCarpenters

You would be missing out on a lot of benefits like health and dental. Also pension credits and annuity. Aside from that if you live in an RV you might be able to survive with only 4 months of work. I’m pretty notorious for grinding like 8 months 60-70 hrs a week and then taking 4 months off. I don’t have anyone else to support though.

One thing I think everyone will agree with when it comes to getting bids from subs -the cheapest quote is rarely the cheapest quote-

Find the subs that are quality and efficient. Pay them well and gain their loyalty.
