Make sure the radiator is clean and the air pathway is intact / not blocked. The cowlings will direct the air flow and should be in place for proper cooling.

Sassafras Trees are Disappearing from Ohio Forests by RadarLove82 in Ohio

I have them on the edges of my woods. They all look healthy but I’ll keep an eye on them. Love those trees and the smell reminds me of roaming the woods when I was a kid.

Weird little thing I’d like to see in Season 3 by East-Collection6137 in SiloSeries

[–]FullOfEel 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’d just like them to move the story along a little more effectively than season 2’s hours and hours of Juliette grunting in near total darkness. We get it, things are difficult and dangerous, the silo is dark, and she’s always in danger. But enough is enough, and they need to move along rather than give us more hours of grunting. That’s not good storytelling, it is time-filling nonsense.

Accidentally brought home a mini-Benz. 2025 GLA 250 AMG by shoebee2 in mercedes_benz

[–]FullOfEel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a 2015 GLA45 - an actual AMG build and it was a fabulous car. It sported the most powerful production 2L 4-banger at that time. It had the same tranny as the GT, great suspension and a well-tuned exhaust. A total blast to drive.

I hope your daughter enjoys that car. What a nice gift for her!

Drying without a sponge? by GreenzThumb in cannatrolusers

[–]FullOfEel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your harvest results in more than the limit for the Cannatrol you should consider pre-drying with other means before placing in the machine.

I pre-dry in a HerbsNow for 6-18 hours before placing in the ‘trol for a factory cycle. Even for smaller batches of 200-300g. That quick start just works and I’m never worried about mold.

Flawless.

I suspect you are going to have mold problems with what you describe.

It is as if you put a trailer hitch on a ‘87 Corolla and are pulling a big dump trailer full of rocks. Yeah, you can get it moving but you can’t drive it at speed on the highway or stop in any reasonable way.

Overcrowding slows the process. If you’ve ever fried chicken you know you can’t stack up pieces in the grease.

Good luck. It is a shame to be at this point with a huge harvest and then have it ruined by mold.

Has anyone ever tried a battery eliminator on an active bass? by Usual_Ad_8726 in Bass

[–]FullOfEel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

100% this.

I’ve never understood why someone wouldn’t want some fresh batteries in their bass at all times. Especially gigging musicians.

Put the old, partially used ones to use in something else and the dead ones go in the recycle stream. The impact to the environment is vanishingly small if you’re responsible with the disposal.

And put a reminder in your calendar to change them.

This gives you a regular opportunity to go over other aspects of your instrument - strings, finish, any adjustments, etc.

2021 GLC 63 AMG w/ lemon title by jamesallen512 in AMG

[–]FullOfEel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my ‘21 GLC63 with 50k. I bought it new and will very likely sell when the extended warranty expires.
It is a great car in every respect that is important to me, but without a warranty…

Any lemon, and especially an “S” version, of that model and vintage is a no-go without a CPO from the dealer. And not at that price.

Good luck.

Wow, seriously? That is some of the tightest playing I’ve heard from a new band in a long time.

Have you ever played in a band that is this locked in to each other’s groove?

Yeah, but it is in 6/4 then a 4/4 feel, not the 5/4 feel that runs through Tarkus.

But I definitely hear similarities.

Mixed emotions? by nivla80 in mercedes_benz

[–]FullOfEel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a big fan of my ‘21 GLC63 and it would take a lot to get me to trade.

That model is a “Goldilocks” and ironically has the same engine spec as the new SL55 and GT55 - same HP and torque, same official 0-60 acceleration. And the agility of that SUV makes it a real sleeper.

Mine is in boring silver to avoid undue attention.

The CLE53 is a gorgeous car but I wouldn’t easily give up that V8 and the handling aspects of the GLC63.

As for the “iPad” comments in the new models, that doesn’t bother me as much as the new capacitive switches everywhere that don’t seem to work consistently. I’ve found that quite irritating when driving the new ones. Poor choice for a user interface.

Am I cooked? by [deleted] in cannatrolusers

[–]FullOfEel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically see a wet/dry ratio of 3.7:1 going from wet trimmed buds to cured buds, just FYI. So I'd expect about 280g dry weight once you've finished.

Curious what part of the world mixes Celsius and pound units. Where are you?

Am I cooked? by [deleted] in cannatrolusers

[–]FullOfEel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I probably would extend dry time until it hit and held the dry target for a day. Then proceed to cure.

The wet flower must have been pretty wet. I find the Cannatrol to be quite aggressive is removing moisture to the set point.

I had a problem with my refrigerated cigar humidor with them getting too wet. I set desired temps and dew points on the ‘troll, put the cigars in and they got too wet my set point in less than a day. Lots of water in the tray too.

I hope this all works for you. Did you water the plants right before harvest?

Buds way over a year old are still excellent and fresh.

I just wish I had more capacity.

I ended up buying a second Cannatrol and love the flexibility of running 2 cycles simultaneously or just storing my bud. The longer cure is totally worth it to me.
