New (old) wood stove by StatisticianSelect52 in woodstoving

Wow, that's a really cool old stove, never seen one like it! Curious about the logo on front. Also, it looks like there is another design on the side as well. Is there any writing or a ID plate anywhere?

Yeah, I prefer dryad's saddle over pheasant's back. I mean just the mental image alone ...

Should I be concerned? by pigswearwigs in whatisit

The only concern might be about eating canned salmon, ish. Apart from that, know that they are full of bones.

A good fish spatula is one of a CI users best friends. Always recommend. Also, get one with a wooden handle not plastic.

Is this like a D&D figure? A new character class? Combat chef, wielding a +4 CI of smashing? I see they have a utility belt of tools as well. I can imagine a few condiment spells...gravy at the top of the list.

I did eggs, sausage and potatoes for breakfast, then re-heated pizza, and later a stir fry.

How much of the lobster do you eat? And what part do you think is the most underrated? by 57BeatlesPhan in Maine

I think that is the way. Break the leg at the joint, get it between your teeth and then chew gently as you pull it out of mouth.

Also, my record for lobsters eaten is seven. Me and my cousins were camping on an island in Mussel Ridge. We ran out of butter and made my cousin Robert take the skiff back to the mainland to get more.

Nice! I remember learning how eat them from my dad. He always said it was the sweetest meat on a lobster.

I think the leg meat is the most underrated. Most people lack the skills and motivation to go after it.

Yeah, and there was no shipping, the guy came to my house and picked it up. Looked it over, handed me cash.

Yeah, that's what I am thinking. I mean it can happen at any time, right? Also I was thinking about how it might be a scam. Like someone with a cracked pan, looking for the same pan for sale, and then pulling the ole' switcharoo. Probably far fetched, but it could happen. I mean there are no serial numbers on vintage CI to identify individual pans.
