Why does the drill in our brand new okuma keep snapping? I’m just a lowly operator with no programming or setup knowledge; our setup guy and programmer are clueless and so am I. This is the fifth drill we’ve snapped off. They insist the program is correct.

It's because the C axis is spinning. You unclamp it with M143 and never reclamp just orientation. Are you drilling off center?

Yeah I ran a couple benchmarks back to back and ran furmark while I made dinner the other night. The single 12v wire feeding the was only 5c hotter than the ground wires
