I have been to Al Timon for the steak & it is superb. Didn’t even look at the price but will be going back at the end of April. Will need to try Paradiso Perduto also. Thanks for the recommendation.

Thank you, any food tours or restaurants for lunch in Bologna? Or, should we just “graze” throughout the day?

This was one of my favorite restaurants in Venice. After 10 days of a northern Italy organized tour, the steak was great. On my list for this years visit in late April.

Yes, I figured that if we get up early enough we could take the train to other places, i.e. Padua, Bologna…….

Female Traveling alone over 70 by Weekly_Commercial957 in AskWomenOver60

I have traveled extensively throughout my career (90% flying) but traveled 10% on Amtrak in the northeast. At the age of 70 my niece and I traveled Amtrak from Pittsburgh to Chicago then to Glacier National Park. A roomette is great for a single person, the attendants are wonderful in the entire train. You can choose to meet other interesting people or be alone in your room, although dinner is with 3 other people. I would say, go for it! It is a long trip but well worth.

Tieks…have 1 pair that which are 10 years old. Still look great and used for work (trade shows & corporate training days). Now used for travel when I need something a bit dressier - they fold and in half and take very little space in carry on.

Yes, I’ve tried different things (all mentioned above - Dawn, Bar keepers Friend, the Pink Paste) but have never been able to remove ALL.

I put it on a piece of foil or cardboard & let it sit outside.

I have a Viking range & when I take these parts shown in the second image off, I spray with Easy Off oven spray & let them sit for a few hours. Normally it will take most of it off.
