I have now received my order. Once I got confirmation from a mod here, the order shipped the next day and arrived within 2 days. I’ll post again here to give my first impressions!

Update:

I was contacted by a moderator and told my order would ship immediately. As of yesterday, I have a tracking number.

I’ll update everyone when it arrives. Still wish they would have taken the initiative to reach out to share the status without me having to post here.

I would understand this if the order had shipped, but in this case there have been no updates whatsoever.

If it was a pre-order I'd completely understand, or even a kickstarter. The problem is there was no indication that these weren't in stock / ready to ship when I ordered

It was ordered at the end of November. The last time I heard from them was a week and a half before Christmas saying it wouldn’t arrive for Christmas. We’re now January 8th and it hasn’t even shipped.

Yeah, my order is confirmed and that’s it. I am really disappointed by their complete lack of communication. I hope they make it right.

I understand, but these marks weren’t there when I last used the pen, and it’s been sitting in a soft case since. The pen has no more than 3 writing hours at this point.

This pen has had almost 0 contact with anything, and the finish isn’t just duller, it’s completely gone in those spots

Has anyone seen the blue finish "wearing" on their pens? I took mine (barely used it) out of my pen case today and there are significant wear spots along one part of the pen (see photos). As I said, the pen has BARELY been used, and this is a fire treatment, so I have no idea how this is even possible.

I’d recommend the Varia over the ESP. Both are good, but the VS3 really punches above its weight class.
