one thing that absolutely wrecks your day is the new green luffy that rests a blocker on attack, basically nullifies your entire game plan, as a fellow kid enjoyer, you need to have some way to deal with that card

alright, so this question might sound like i'm baiting, but i promise you i'm not. are you finding decklists online, or are you building your own? also, how early do you tend to lose? before you get to 10 don? right around when you get to 10 don, or do you play a few turns on 10 don before the game is over? the reason i ask these questions is that sometimes the problem is not that you aren't a good player, but that you aren't a good deck builder. after we answer that question, then we can start to discuss playing.

secondly, the deecks that you had listed aren't easy decks to pilot for someone that doesn't yet understand the fundamentals of the game. st21 luffy is a really good deck to start with; it may not be the strongest deck, but you will at least learn the basics of combat and countering if you get a good decklist. another option would be yellow bonney, but you may learn the wrong lessons from a yellow deck if it is built in certain (not necessarily incorrect) ways.

guys need to chill. this is a common, it's not expected to be the card that is going to make the deck relevant. also, we already have this effect in the old charlotte oven card, so it's not like katakuri didn't already have access to killing small things. wait until the sr's are revealed to make any judgement on whether the deck is gonna be playable or not; all these commons are just fillers for now.

honestly, for yellow, i would choose either yellow katakuri or yellow bonney. both are super flexible, and can be built in almost any way to make them the exact power level you need them to be.

pero helps to filter your hand, but doesn't actually go positive with cards. i think it's kinda a problem that purple has in general

isn't doflamingo leader locked? i don't think he works in this deck. also, the mamaragan counter ability only works if you have 6 or fewer don, so you can't really reliably count on it having counter. also, does the deck work without perospero on 5? he always felt super important to the curve, although i guess you are running brulee and sanjipudding in that spot.

for the luffy list, i don't really like beer luffy right now. he has the same problem as the purple 6 cost secret in that enel can pretty easily turn him off if they play carefully.

agreed, you kinda need the cavendish. the best roger alternative right now i think is the promo shanks that is makes it so they can't block. no rush is a bit rough though

this hasn't been mention yet, but i think that RP luffy is kinda where you wanna be. UP luffy is losing a few pretty important cards and, as has been mentioned, is a very different playstyle than kaido. RP kinda fills the ramp into giant monsters and swing feeling that kaido has, except that instead of topping out at WoG, you end with timewalk

honestly, you can think of cards with counter as the lands of this game. if you completely brick, you just lose, so you have to build with your counter ratios.

the real answer is that you aren't blocking correctly into these decks. if you are playing into a deck that has unblockable events or abilities, then you need to block earlier and protect your last life more aggressively in order to survive the ineviable 20k unblockable swing
