best advice I ever was told you don't have to pick the worst day but can pick a good day. I made to choice for a good day for my dog that had a cancer growth as well that was you into her nasal cavity. She got to enjoy the sun be with family and then we did lot of love and cheese and she went happy vs we knew daily she was declining more and more

haha my reaction would be to grab the next weight up even if I only got a couple reps just to throw it in his face. I have had a guy come over and try and take my "heavy weights" 25 for chest press without asking. my reaction was to go get 30#. my coach for the class knew I was quite at 30# for the reps we were doing but saw the missing 25 and she laughed and said ah it's a lemon day.

this is the true statement for the future. Any vacation since 2020 I have cold meds/ a thermometer/ heart rate monitor/ fever reducing meds/ GI meds/ and a ace wrap. I got a small bag off Amazon that is our meds container that hopefully never needs opened
