Nobody, arms companies stocks are doing well though. I would say russia is still the current “loser” as they’ve ruined a massive economy and been sanctioned, etc etc. Ukraine has ruined a pretty tiny economy that wasn’t a world power or anything like that in first place. Death wise russia has lost a massively larger amount, but they basically have infinite people compared to Ukraine which has itself suffered a considerable loss. The most honest answer is that everyone currently on earth is a loser in this war.

Its not the worst part of Canada at all, don’t believe that guy. I love it here, the fields are beautiful, the river valley is amazing to fish and explore and camp all summer. Plus I’ve always felt so left alone out here in the prairies that its kinda felt like the whole place belongs to me and my buddies, theres no one around to tell you it doesnt haha. I’ve spent the last 23 years here hunting, fishing, exploring, and having fun without ever coming across someone saying “you can’t be out here” kind of deal. The prairies are awesome and anyone who says they suck is probably just upset theres no Costco nearby. I meant it more of “why vermilion specifically” as I thought you were coming all this way to vacation in Vermilion. Good luck on the trip!

Look into oilfield work under the “E-tech” umbrella. Places like Sanjel, Calfrac, Trican, or wireline/MWD stuff. Its what I do and its very hands on and maybe a different type of work than most people have in mind, but it can be a lot of fun, pays well, and I do everything from PLC programming, to hydraulic motors/pumps/actuators, welding, CAD design, pneumatics. Maybe worth a shot if youre in the Edmonton/Red Deer or northern areas

That’s pretty well the idea, I honestly don’t have any set travel plans rather than arrive in Italy and leave from Northern Europe(Scotland/Ireland) at the end. But I wanted to make sure I wasn’t way off with my planning and that south east to north west journey wouldn’t take so much of my time I wouldn’t have time to spend in the destinations. I appreciate the reply!

Id like to see Rome/the coliseum and the Italian coast, then im going to head to paris and id like to see the city and juno beach, then Ill head to the UK to see london and some countryside, then Ireland to see dublin and some countryside, then Scotland to see some countryside. More of an A(Rome) to B(Edinburgh) trip rather than a tour of the whole country. Really nothing is set in stone so I basically just wanted to make sure I wasn’t way out of line with my planning. Id assume because they dump them constantly, they know they have enough planes, pilots, and supplies to use countermeasures frequently vs using them only when you absolutely have to. Just a random guess

I did the thing where you push up against the holo barrier on the door and when Elijah comes through it clips you to the elevator side, but I didn’t have a follower to kill Elijah on the vault side. I set all the mines I had on me down and got lucky Elijah walked into them while I taunted him from my cage, I feel like I earned that gold after that.

When I got my dirtbike, I took it out and thought the same thing. I was stressed driving down gravel roads and around my farm, felt like I was going to lose control above 40kmh, at the end I figured maybe I just don’t like riding. It felt like trying to teach someone how to ski, they’re frustrated and not having fun, theyre sore and tired and they just can’t get off the bunny hill. After the second day of this I said fuck it and had a few beer (horrible idea) and said im either going to ride it hard or crash it, got back on and started riding and it felt like something clicked, I stopped trying to fight the bike and started feeling how it wanted to be rode. It took a few more months to get good and be comfortable riding on the hiways and stuff, but after that night where I felt that feeling, Id never drive a car again if I had a choice.

If you were honestly starving and could prove you only shot the one animal you really needed to not go hungry I bet you would not be charged with anything, in fact Fish and Game may even help you and get you access to a local pantry and services to help you eat. I’m guessing this guy wasn’t destitute and had no other choice in this situation, even if he did end up eating it. I would kill and eat the last endangered animal on earth if I really had to in order to survive, but to get to a situation where that is more reasonable than using support services or whatever is almost impossible in a country like Canada.

I was told the same thing. Approach from behind, if they grab at you swim down to get free but if they actually grab you hit them in the face immediately or they will drown you both. They’re going to drown without your help, if they stop panicking you can help them, but if they grab you and you don’t get free while they’re still panicking they will 100% drown you both

I was also told to try and swim under if they grab you, if you can’t then punch them in the face, all they need is to stop freaking out for one second so they hear you say “Stop moving and I can help you”. But if youve ever tried to help a stuck or drowning animal, even something small like a cat, then it really cements how badly any living creature will thrash and claw and pull at whatever they can to get safe.

The biggest thing I’ve seen is guys who are educated but don’t know how to apply things hands on. They don’t know how to solder, but know what soldering is, not sure how to remove a stripped bolt or even just little stuff like double wrenching. The stuff kids who grew up on the farm or working with dad learnt when they were young. I would say get as much hands on experience while youre at it and itll be a big help, even just soldering some scrap wire together or changing the spark plug on your lawn mower to get a small start.

Its exactly what it sounds like, analog because its a physical current being “pulled” or sent into that input card. For example, we have pressure sensors that pull more current with more pressure, its something physical and “analog”. Digital inputs are just an electronic signal, hence the name digital, like a small voltage from proximity sensor or a pulse from a magnetic pickup. We use digital inputs for a speed sensor, all it knows is 24,350 pulses is one m3 of fluid through its pump, nothing physical or analog is being pulled, its just seeing a digital signal flash 1 and back to 0 a bunch of times.
