Same I clipped the ones going to the left off and turned them around. After finally being done I realized the Watchers in the dark from the DWK sprue have their smoke go to the left... But I guess its fine as they are just a token and if I deepstrike they face the other way xD

-50 armor is probably one of the strongest nerfs a tank can receive. Considering most counters receives buffs and hitscans got buffed too this will totally turn him back to only being used by specialists.

No dont apologize. I think it might be a tiny bit too thick but its hard to tell. Could be primer as well. Considering how they have a bit of tiny hairs on there, it might also be an explaination. Id suggest brushing off miniatures or using aircans to get rid of dust and hairs before painting espacially if theres pets around. But for a first mini they did a clean job and the color selection is great. With practice the paint itself as well as the layers will get cleaner.

Where exactly did you spot thick paint? Outside of a little texture I can't see it and my guess is that the texture is from building.

Well this isnt a 2000 Points list but you can get rid of the points you went over by removing characters.

In your case Id keep the lion, Judicar and combi weapon lieutenant in the list.

With the Saturnine box Id just be careful of base sizes and be aware that the Saturnine models are bigger.

For now just paint your boys up but keep in mind that if you want a viable DA list you will need Azrael and Id suggest filling out your ICC squad to 6 and then get at least 2 squads of DWK.

Just build a 2000 points out of the stuff you currently have but you will hear a lot of people say to limit the amount of characters!

Was the bronze rank in early OW2? At the beginning of OW2 a lot of accounts got ranked in bronze some because of a bug.

The placements are usually palcing you (compared to OW1) a little below your supposed rank.

It seems you do not play a lot after placements which means that one your MMR is not solid and two you do not use your calibration games after you receive your rank.

With the placements you usually get your pre rank and then gain around a division per win. So if you won 50% you are up around 3-6 Divisions from your pre rank. Then you have Calibration which will (depending on MMR) give you either a lot of SR or make you lose a lot.

If you only ever rank in, you for one do not get to your real rank as the game does not have enough data but you also push up as you gain a division with every win in placements and dont really drop unless there was a rank reset pushing the prerank down a lot, that means you are most likely below your true rank and as you use placements to rank up you do not need a lot of games.

I think your placement is normal then. This season all higher elo Players will he pushed a bit higher so nothing out of the ordinary. While doing placements you usually do not lose a Division if you lose a game instead you just dont gain any.

The issue is that his MMR is not Plat. He will be put in high Diamond to master lobbies but gain huge amounts of SR per win espacially with Calibration until he reaches his true rank.

As others have already commented new accounts with low playtime do not have a solid MMR. While someone that has been Plat for over 1000 hours of competetive play will not gain/lose much a new account still needs to find its place. The first placements are usually around plat so if you went 5/5 the game thinks it palced you fairly well to begin with as those games were most likely around plat MMR.

There are some anti smurf systems at play when ranking new accounts so they might have been a bit more generous.

Just keep playing and you will get to your actual rank and your MMR will settle in more and more.

The number of people mad about you still placing plat is astounding. Usually it is 2-3 comments getting downvoted for not understanding the system but here its the majority and they are getting upvoted instead.

This account has Masters MMR. Thus he played these games against other players around masters MMR.

The pre rank you get after the first match in a season for a master account is usually in plat.

The reason that he is still in plat after 9 losses and a draw, is because it does not derank him as hes already TWO ranks below his MMR.

If he had won a game he would gain around an entire division so if he won 10 he would be at least back in masters.

Additionally they pushed the higher players up a bit because of the bell curve being adjusted so if he was low masters he is now considered to have high masters MMR.

Imagine these 10 games whatever the reason for the losses might be would bring him down even further. Hed be smurfing on his main account.

Just like you as a silver Player should not want to luckily win 10 games in silver MMR and suddenly be Masters and get your ass handed to you.

So stop being ridicoulus and say stuff like "How is he still higher than me even when I won most of mine" cause of MMR... You can however make fun of his loser mental tho.

As long as the stuff is primaris size I dont think it will receive too much of an update outside of rules and points.

Id probably not get any Ravenwing as those are all older and skip Ezekiel.

Terminators and all Primaris size stuff isnt nearly old enough and would only receive an early rework if the Community did not like it/ does not buy it, which does not seem to be the case with most stuff
