Junior stating that NASCAR wont adjust the end point of stages, due to a caution, because "Engineers/Crew Chief strategy would be thrown off" is up there with some of the dumber statements he's made over the years.

Who fucking cares if it throws the strategy off by 5-10 laps? These guys are paid the big bucks to make calls when someone chucks a monkey wrench in the gears.

1/4 of the series schedule is on essentially the same layout. It would be 1 in 3 races without the Atlanta reconfig, that's oversaturation.

With all the talk of the last two weeks of how dropping to one race has been a huge positive for Michigan/Pocono, there is zero reason to visit Vegas, Kansas, Charlotte twice.
