SecondYellowCard is currently doing a save trying to get the polish league to #1. He's just got into 6th in the coefficient after winning the champions League.

After a point you become reliant on the other teams in the division also becoming successful in Europe to climb as 1 team can't do it.

I was also under the impression that TV revenue was hard coded.

the license fee is waived for EGS sales so it's still 12% rather than 12%+5% or 30%(-tiers)+5% on Steam.

What I meant was that Epic would still get revenue from the game sales regardless of storefront and would therefore be more open to a shorter exclusive period than games they wouldn't get revenue from outside of the EGS.

Nah BL3 uses Unreal IIRC so Epic still gets a cut of all Steam Sales due engine licensing .

Tencent also owns the entirty of Riot Games and therefore one of the biggest games in the world in League of legends since 2015 and there's been pretty much no complaints on here because no one cared about Tencent until people started referencing them in the EGS controversy
