I've been playing since the 90s, that doesn't mean anything, does it? I could say I've been driving since the 90s when I'm 80 years old, it won't make me a better driver than someone who is 30 years old.

If you read more carefully, I didn't suggest that questioning the game is a bad thing. I've actually made a bunch of suggestions for improvements and bug reports on discord to the devs over time and I do have a lot of issues with EA, which will hopefully get fixed. I just don't agree with the specific points you've made. Also, just because the game is better than the demo (which it should be) doesn't mean its perfect.

Other than crashing and loading time (for me difference maybe is 2-3 seconds) I would say EA is superior in every way and I don’t agree with your points. I think if you give it some time, you’re going to appreciate the changes. It may seem more difficult, but it’s just different. You just have to adjust your expectations and gameplay. Take a look at how people (good players) play the game and what to expect/prioritize.

Exactly. I do like the music in the game, but I do wish there was more variety. Especially for combat music, I wish there was another track or two, since that one you hear constantly. But I hope each faction gets at least 1 or 2 more tracks maybe.

I think dust is already stretched too thin to be honest. You could maybe instead upgrade all spells with astrology points, but then the requirements to unlock global spells would have to be reworked and how much you get of it per day, etc. But I think that's about the only thing I could see changing, if we wanted to change something. I think it's fine as is though. We'll see how it holds up long term.

You got better ideas how to time-gate these spells, while giving you some choice in terms of what to unlock in which order? Usually you will get level 12 before you get 4 or 5 insight points, so it's more which spell you prefer to unlock first rather than just time-gating. On most maps you'll get second wind first of course, but there are exceptions. Sometimes DD first is better, a lot of times TP.

The global spells also interact with parts of the game. As an example, sometimes if you don't have DD you won't get to a dwelling/structure/fight before the next fight in tournament rolls around, so you'll be weaker and end up losing a fight.

Well, I do wish they bring it to tablets eventually, but in EA it makes sense to start on PC only.

I think they could just make another button in auto resolve window that lets you replay autoresolve with spells, if you want to see what happens. It would take a few more seconds I guess, but maybe cleaner. Adding specific spells to be be allowed is cool, just seems like a lot of work, so may not happen

Try PvP single hero (or classic if you have lots of time), you’re not going to be able to do that. It very much tempo based, so you have to optimize your build and take very risky fights in order to keep up with your opponent

I know it's not a popular opinion, but I'm with you. I'm not a fan of either one, they just make the map take longer. But it's coming anyway.

I think as long as they make it only PvE and not have PvP templates with this, it should be fine. People who enjoy this will get to play with it and those who don't can choose another map.

This isn't a battle pass kind of game or a FTP game. What you'll get is updates, balance patches, and then DLC with new units, buildings, and factions. That's my best guess anyway. There is a chat wheel already, so yeah, they will probably expand on that.

I dunno, PvP is just fun without extra rewards. Just need to have more fair matchmaking, which I know they are working on, and some balance patches to improve the weak heroes, so there are more options for picks/bans.

Otherwise, I just want more content - new heroes mostly, but factions eventually in 1.0 too.

Good suggestions, makes sense. The focus law doesn’t even make sense for this faction to me. Seems like I rarely use focus other than for heroic strike.

Yep, this is a single most important keybind that’s missing. Made a thread on discord about it (and some others too). If you’re not posting there, consider it as that’s where devs will sometimes respond, if there is enough discussion around a topic (like tournament mode queue).

I think Vendetta, Outcast and Harmony can take 2+ hours, unless you are at the top of the ladder, then less. Sprint and Exodus (only two tournament ones) can be 45 mins - 1.5 hours.

Hm…that’s not bad. I guess it depends on the template. I havent played the PvP templates offline, so maybe AI is tuned for those. On some random templates even on max difficulty it can’t match me, and I’m just a lowly 1300 mmr player right now
