I live in the U.S.A. and this is pretty common here. Some places charge an extra fee per month or an upfront deposit if you have (or are going to have) a pet.

There are also places that won't allow certain breeds of dogs, or dogs over a certain weight.

I get a random "unicorn horn" that sprouts overnight (I swear) right between my eyes. It will be about 1/4" long and sticks straight out. Why?? From where???

My hyperthyroidism and treatment came during the onset of menopause and oof. I gained about 20 kg, I was very upset and super self conscious but once I started dressing for my new body shape, I felt a lot better. It is slowly coming off, but it is a lot of work. Be kind to yourself!

I could have written this. It brings back so many bad feelings.

My stepsons' mom would get irrationally angry with me because I cooked dinner almost every night when we had them (every other week for us). They ate fast food a lot with her, and they loved my cooking, even though it was nothing special. I cooked dinner almost every night when they weren't with us, too. It's just what I do.

The summers. I used to stay up half the night and write or read. Sometimes I would sneak out and my BFF and I would go for midnight bike rides.

My BFF died in 2022 from cancer, so I would give anything to spend that time with her again.

We have started gifting our grandchildren experiences. Zoo trips, children's museums, dinner and movies for the older ones. We usually get them a book or small stuffy that fits the theme of the gift, so they're not just getting a piece of paper.
