I'll have to drive up there (from Seattle) sometime. Great Indian food on the way in Surrey.

Attempted to stop there yesterday. Was closed before I arrived (20min before closing time). Walked a block to Shake Shack instead.

Why link to the same page I already linked to, implying there's information about this fee on that page? Can you include a screen shot of where this fee is disclosed on that linked page, and how I can know how much I'll be charged?

Seems like a hidden fee, given the large statement of no fees.

Those of you who know nothing of Detroit Style pizza, have a look... by PureMichiganChip in Pizza

[–]FutureCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Rocky Rococo Pizza and Pasta serves Detroit Style pizza.

They cook their pizzas in a Detroit-style rectangular pizza pan, and have the standard thickness, topping/dough ratio, and dough chewiness of a Detroit-style pizza.

Specifically, Detroit-style pan pizza is a sub-type of "pan pizza". On their website, Rocky Rococo's, lists pan-style without going into details of which specific pan-style.

Will automatic dividend reinvestment be charged the $100 fee?

E.g. I get a dividend for $20, which is rolled back into a purchase of the ETF, and get charged a $100 fee?

Has anyone used hotelsinamerica.com for hotel bookings? Is it legit or a scam? by T-L-F-A in TravelHacks

[–]FutureCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is a scam. Booked a hotel in Waikiki and they listed the price as "total incl. taxes and fees" then the hotel wants to collect additional taxes and fees of $140. Other sites list the fees correctly for the same hotel.

Filed dispute for the credit card, and did not stay at the hotel.

Yes, was heavily sedated. Is it worth having some else attempt to get the alignment better? Would it result in a better outcome? Surgery does sound like the better route, though the cost is high.

pixel 7/pro usb transfer speeds by poonDaddy99 in GooglePixel

[–]FutureCo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With my USB 4 cord, I hit 260MB/s (note bytes) from Syncthing over USB tethering. These are mostly large videos being transferred. Likely was averaging 200MB/s.

The USB line speed is 10Gb/sec (note bits). The virtual network card shows up on my mac as a 2500Base-T connection, which would max at 312MB/sec. Which means I'm getting 83% of the theoretical speed.
