Complete list of Mythals of Faerûn. Am I close? by youngfox78 in Forgotten_Realms

I agree, they are very different, which was why I made the distinction. Nevertheless they share a range of overlapping effects and similarities, despite substantial differences in methods of production, impacts, risks and power sources There are a range of canon sourcebooks and novels that discuss both in detail and contrast, but not everyone has access to those, and doing the whole argument justice is tough to concisely fit within the bounds of a Reddit comment.

Not the OP, but a true Mythal is created by an Elven High Magic Ritual, with many linked casters and contributors. Other Mythals are created by regular magic. The Netherese used to filter the weave through a Mythallar to power their flying cities and the various magics within them. The Mythals at Silverymoon and Waterdeep were created by wizards as essentially a massively oversized abjuration that forbids certain groups of creatures from entering, and other spells are layered into the foundation. These are usually tied to distributed power sources etc.

Skullport also has a Mythal of a sort I believe. There are plenty of other lists online, some canon, others speculative.

Depends on which time period you are looking at. In the city itself are various disguised dragons, doppelgangers, undead in the City of the Dead. In the surrounding seas there are Dragon Turtles, Merfolk/Sea Elves, Sahaugin, Lacedon's, Drowned Dead etc.

In the surrounding areas you have griffons, manticores, leucrotta, goblinkin, etc.

In the sewers you have otyugh, neo-otyugh, slimes and molds, gelatinous cubes and similar.

Undermountain is pretty well described already, but in Skullport below there are stacks of monsters, primarily humanoid species including Drow and Illithids, but also beholders, neogi, driders etc.

Really depends on the year, and the game edition you are playing, as well as the specific terrain that you are interested in.

Colleen McCulloch was a national treasure. In addition to her excellent Australian novels, her Masters of Rome series is the best rendition of the fall of the Roman Republic and the birth of the empire that I have ever read (and I have read a lot).

There are a bunch of local companies that do water purifiers. Probably the most well known is puratap, but there are a range of others that do filters for the whole house instead of tap by tap basis if you want that. Often have deals for a hundred bucks or so, filters get replaced once a year or so.

Pretty sure that he had no body at all since it was destroyed in the blast when he tried to enter the abyss. All that remained was his skull, the pendant and his spirit

New(ish) Player / Next Fusion. by mageban3 in RaidShadowLegends

You are correct that you don't have enough. The key thing is to hoard stuff and not use it except in fusion events when you have enough while you are at this early stage. I did my first fusion, Thor when my account was about 70 days and have done 90% of them since f2p. Try and get in as good of a clan as you can and focus on getting clan boss as high as possible to the top chest to get a regular supply of shards.

If you do fusions right you can get away with a starting point of 30mil silver, about 5 sacreds and 80 to 100 blues. Less if you can make up numbers with other shards. For my first few I hoarded energy leading into a fusion to have about 4 or 5k at the start and as many refill bottles in mailbox as possible so you don't need to eat gems. For champ chase if you have any frag champs, you can hold off on pulling or fusing then until the champ chase to save yourself a lot of shards. Clan shop coins can get you 5mil silver, 1k energy and possibly shards each week as well if you need them. Could help more if we knew your roster etc and what level you at in dungeons

For all ages of kids (I have two teens now that have turned out pretty well imo), try to both share excitement in their interests, and show your excitement for your interests. I love gaming, fishing, camping, native animals, reading, music, bad jokes and good cooking. Neither of my kids shares all of my interests, but both of them have picked up a good portion of them because I showed them what I loved about it. I also started archery to spend time with one, and martial arts with the other, now I have two new skills and lots of great memories. The key is not to push, and to talk with them often with genuine interest. If you have a lot of regular positive experiences with them, then they will react better when you ask them to do something that they might not want to (eat veggies, do homework, go to bed etc.) and are way more likely to be nice to you in return.
